I asked this exactly same question last month. As a fellow Canadian, I was completely in the same position as you. I think it's a bit unique considering many of us live close enough to go home on weekends multiple times a year.

I did the best I could. I couldn't remember each of them but all I could do was my best at this point.

Don't listen to any one who tells you that you should have KNOWN to do this. It's not like someone tells you to do it, especially if you weren't thinking of applying for citizenship and then changed your mind.

When you are listing the dates can you include a statement such as "to the best of my recollection I have traveled outside the USA xxx times"?

I have a quick question regarding the requirement to list all trips outside of the US since becoming a PR....I visit home quite a bit for short visits- mostly driving so my Passport isn't always stamped. I am worried that I will not be able to recall every time that I have left the US for these short trips over the last 5 years...what happens if I miss a trip on my form? Is there any way to request a copy of the records that the CBP has from when I've crossed the border? Any help or advice anyone can give on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

OMG I just got the email from CRIS that my card production was ordered on September 2nd. YAY!!!!!

Can you believe that , CSC started to approve June Filers , 3 people already approved from June list on the other hand VSC still dealing with feb-march filers.. Why on earth VSC always have to be the slowest Service Center? What the hell is wrong with Vermont, weather,food,brain numbed workers or what, what on earth wrong with them?

How come one side manage to process cases so fast and other side processing same cases at turtle speed?

this is not fair at all ,Vermont filers pays the same application fee as california filers but still dont get the same quality of service, vermont sucks big time!!!

Woah that's crazy. I hear what you're saying...the discrepancy really isn't fair when the Service Center you submit to depends only on the State you live in.

probably it's the new code for I-751 petitions which they lately started to use in their computerized system.. Read the first NOA letter you received, at the bottom of the NOA there is a note says

" The I-751 form type will be listed as CR189 under the application type in our case status on-line tool "

- Are you using a highlighter pen to show names, adress in order for them to catch the informations quicker ( with so many documents)?

- Did you put your A# on all documents

- What method did you use to assembly the file ( ACCO fasteners?) ?

Hi!

I just finished assembling mine and I am just making a copy of the packet.

- I did highlight the main point of each page i.e. both names, address, etc.

- I did put my A# on all documents- I have heard stories about documents getting lost, put in other files, etc. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

- I did use ACCO fasteners and I used dividers to put between each section (but cut off the plastic part). I then used post-it tabs along the bottom to mark my sections.

Yes, your parents can write the affidavits. We submitted one written by a friend and another one written by a family member. You could also ask a neighbor or a co-worker. Hope this helps.

If you are filing from within the US, no passport-style pictures are needed for removal of conditions.

Dear Fellow VJers,

Today I went to check my mailbox as usual, a single letter is sitting there and waiting for me. Yes! That's right! It's my approval letter . No RFE no interview. Letter date 6/17/2009. Envelope stamped date 6/18/2009. In my mail box 6/20/2009. Envelope is VSC, letter's bottom said local office and a white label with the new VSC director's name, signature and title to cover up the old one. Now it's my turn to wait for GC production.

Hi! Good to see you again. If your conditional green card expires on 09/29/2009, your 90 day window opens on 07/01/2009. You can file anytime during those 90 days but don't file before 07/01/2009 (if you do they will return your application and you will have to re-submit it). Good luck! Silke

It's been a while since I've visited the forums, I hope you are all doing well.

I have a quick question. I am nervous about filing for the removal of conditions and I want to make sure I get my filing date correct.

If my Conditional Green Card expires on 9/29/09, that means my I-751 must be sent by 6/29/09? I am freaking out a bit because I am very busy at work and I don't have the IRS transcripts yet- can I file a week late or does it have to be postmarked by 6/29/09?
