  1. It means that they received your I-751, and they will have to review it and work on it. Will take a while before adjudication.
  2. Thank you! I am not worried of the process, but just think that it's weird she received the waiver and I didn't... but like my husband used to say, I'm overthinking lol!
  3. They are just part of the long list of documents you can provide, as example: The most important is to provide what you can, while obviously it's always better to give them as much as you can.
  4. We received earlier today the waiver for biometrics, but only for my daughter (she's 19)... Seems really weird but I want to stay 100% positive thinking that I should receive mine in a few. Does anyone know if this is something usual?

  6. Totally agree! And getting ready for a long long waiting period...
  7. We received our NOA one week after they received our application, so you could see something next week.
  8. Hi! We sent ours by USPS on Oct 8, was delivered on Oct 10. Received the text on Oct 13 and NOA yesterday, Oct 18.
  9. I would say you're ok, but keep in mind that as soon as you get your new address, don't forget to keep USCIS up to date.
  10. Just receive notification from USCIS, our case was received and assigned to YSC... not the fastest unfortunately 😭
  11. Hi guys! Here we go! We sent our package off earlier this morning. And now awaiting notification that USCIS receive it. And now the waiting begins...
  12. Thank you for confirming! I told them that the only difference is they can't vote and get some jobs exclusively for US citizen. But they were told by their lawyer that because they applied through a certain visa they will not allow to travel until they get their travel permit... when I got mine GC, I was told by the immigration that the GC cancelled my combo EAD/Travel permit, so I guess it applies for any GC holder. Thank you guys! I knew that I wasn't crazy when I told them that their GC voids their EAD/AP. I don't know why their lawyer told that... doesn't make any sense to me! My best advice for them is to call the USCIS and get the right info.

  14. Hi there! I have a quick question as I am confused about the advance parole. One of my friends who were under E1/E2 visa, just get their 10 years GC. So now his wife and kids are allowed to work. Their lawyer told them when they applied for the GC, as well as EAD and Travel Permit, that their GC won't give them the right to travel. I thought that the GC allows everyone to work and travel and there was no restriction. Could someone clarify this for us? Thank you!
