  1. Haha... which is hilarious is when you receive the Visa Journey weekly email with Your latest I-751 approval estimate! as May 15, 2024 And you're right: just sit and relax...next step will be N400!
  2. 286 days ago USCIS received our ROC... and still nothing... Thank you Potomac for being so slow... Although I am still far away from the 29 months lol... Sorry guys, just need to vent!

  4. Nope! No update since the first NOA received 1 week later, and now the 48th month extension letter. My daughter who applied under my ROC, got hers reused, but nothing about mine... YSC is the slowest, for now processing times show 26.5 months.
  5. How long after you applied did you receive news about biometrics? I haven't heard nothing since last October.
  6. After 159 days of wait without no news from USCIS, we received earlier today our 48 months extension letter... What an improvement lol
  7. Haven't received any new extension letter either... However, I try to look at my case in MyUSCIS and got this message 'Your case status is unavailable at this time. We are working to get you accurate information as soon as possible.' - Maybe some glitch or they are trying to update the info...
  8. Hi Katharina, The same thing happened to us. I filed my I-751 with my 19 yo daughter as dependent. Both of us received separate NOA with different number. Then she received her waiver for the biometrics, few days after. Zero info for myself. Weird thing: one month later, she received another letter with an appointment for the week after to get her biometrics. FYI, I am still waiting for mine since October 2022.
  9. My ROC was received on Oct 10, and still waiting for YSC to let me know if I need to show up for the biometrics... 78 days... The weird thing in our case, is that my daughter who is under my application, received her NOA with no biometrics required on Oct 19, and on Nov 23 received another NOA with biometrics appointment for Nov 30. She got her biometrics taken, but the website hasn't been updated so far...
  10. Yes, we are... since Oct 10... Stuck in Potomac, the slowest in the country!
  11. And she will! I am just trying to figure if it's already happen to someone else. No matter what, she'll go and bring the 2 notices to the USCIS.
  12. Trust me, she will! And thanks god we are not abroad... We were abroad for the last 2 weeks, and just came back!
  13. My mistake... we received our I-797 and not I-717... We received one notice one week after receiving our NOA, letting my daughter know that they would reuse the biometrics, so they won't schedule an appointment for it. And then, last Tuesday, we got a second notice, asking for her to show up next Tuesday for her biometrics appointment. Online status has never been updated, since they acknowledged they received our application.
  14. Hi guys! One week after our I-717 has been received and assigned to YSC, we received the waiver for the biometrics for my daughter on October 19 (still waiting to get news for mine). And then, last Tuesday, we received another notice, with her biometrics appointment letter for next Tuesday... does it make sense, no I don't think so... First waiver, and now appointment notification one week before the date... lucky us that we're in town! Did it already happen to one of you? And if that's the case, did you bring the 2 notices to the appointment? Thank you!

  16. Great! Welcome to YSC... the longest waiting office, just up to 25.5 months yay
  17. Last Tuesday, my daughter, 19, received the waiver for the biometrics... still waiting for mine... Really, I don't understand how YSC works. Her I751 is linked to mine as dependent. So how could it be possible that they don't process things at the same time? I am getting really stressed about it.
  18. Thank you for your quick response! Obviously we carry our GC all the time so we travel with it. However, as I said our GC expires on Dec 2022 and we'll back on November 23. Does it mean that even if the GC is not expired, we still need to provide the extension letter? I was thinking bringing it just in case we need to extend our stay abroad after the expiration date.
  19. Quick question here. We got our extension letter for 24 months, and our GC expires on Dec 3, 2022. We are travelling to France from Nov 9 to Nov 23, and we'll bring it with us just in case... Should we bring the original or a copy? I assume the original will be better, but don't want to risk losing it or whatsoever...
  20. Got it! Yes you're corect! You should receive your NOA in few days, with 24 months extension.
