  1. Thanks for your responses. I didn’t see the point in sending bills. What I did was have the payroll secretary make a copy of my check history for the last calendar year. I had her sign the last page with the year’s totals. Since I will need to scan these pages and send to my fiancée, I thought it would be good to have this signature as verification. She is the same person who signed my letter from my employer verifying my salary and years of employment.

In another matter unrelated to my I-134 questions... my fiancée told me she needed three verified copies of her birth certificate, background checks, and proof of no marriage. Is this correct? Thanks!

  2. Hi, I’m new to this board, so I apologize if my questions have already been answered in another discussion. I’m from the US, and my fiancée is scheduled to interview at the US Embassy in Manila next week. Initially, she was happy with all documents I had sent, but then she became concerned with the number of pay stubs as sent as part of the POA supporting docs. I sent three recent ones, but they are bi-weekly. What I did send was: a letter from my employer of 18 years stating my salary and years of employment, a copy of my 2018 W-2, my 2018 1040, a letter from my bank, the latest front page from my finial advisor’s latest quarterly report showing stock earnings, along with the three pay stubs.

I’m in education, and my pay more than meets the 125% over the poverty line requirement. And, as stated, I’ve worked at the same school for many years. Are we worrying for nothing? Should I at least scan a few more pay stubs and send them to her? I appreciate your help.
