    Hi everybody,

I have a problem and will try to explain my whole case in a few sentences, hoping someone will be able to help me:

We applied for the 129f in March of 2018, I was admitted to the US on December 20th as a K1 Visa holder.

My then fiancé and I got married on the 21st of February and applied for AOS (485) along with AP (131) and EAD (765) on March 1st. Two days ago I received an email stating, that the case was received on March 8th.

We planned our wedding which will take place in Germany on July 6th of 2019 in the beginning of last year, booked our venue, florists, dj, cake, photo-/videographer and sent out our invites in the beginning of this year.

Since it is a destination wedding we are expecting guests not just from America and Germany, but from all around the world. A lot of guests already booked their flights and also booked their hotels.

Last night I checked, how long the processing times for the i131 are and I got stunned. The uscis website says it will take between 5-7 months. I have to be in Germany in 3 1/2 months.

The wedding party costs approximately 30k and that just includes the costs me and my wife have.

Would I be eligible for an expedited AP?

Is this reason for an emergency, since I would take a severe financial damage of I can't make it to my own wedding?

Should I just sit and wait and hope that my documents get to me on time?

    Thank you in advance everyone!

You guys would have used the 6 months waiting time on k1 visa to do the wedding in Germany(remember once you have that visa in your pass u can do anything abroad eg the type of wedding you want then fly to US and 4months would have been enough to plan the wedding out there) then both of you travel to the US and do the court house wedding there with family and friends or just you and your partner and a witness any thing immigration under Trump can not be trusted because of timing recently.

I came to the United States on a B2 Visa in 2016 and I'm currently out of status. I got married to a LPR (Green Card Holder) 6 weeks after I arrived the US and i filed form I-130 in March 2017. My form I-130 application is still pending. I was arrested for a DUI in December 2018. The Phoenix police that arrested me transferred me over to ICE on December 16. ICE transferred me from the Phoenix detention center to their Texas detention Center. I applied for a bond hearing and was giving a bond of $10,000 by the Immigration Judge. I was never informed there was going to be the Master hearing and the bond hearing together on same day. The master hearing was done before the bond hearing and during the master hearing, the judge asked if I have any fear of going back to my country which i answered NO. The judge also asked me to designate a country of deportation and i designated my country. I told the judge I have relief available to me and he gave me 30 days to file the relief. After the master hearing, the judge had the bond hearing and gave me a $10,000 bond. I'm currently out on bond and applied for the case moved down to Phoenix. Now I have a court case coming up in April, is it possible to tell the Immigration Judge i wish to change my pleadings?. I'm planning to file for asylum based on my fear of persecution on religious grounds. My question is will the Immigration Judge allow me to change my pleadings and file for asylum?.

    Where are you from?

Uh where did I go wrong? Man didnt ask for Documents , nothing else just these and he served me 214b Blue paper. I am still trying to wonder why this is so. I am from Nigeria

My dear Nigerian brother the only way to get a US visitor visa is use all those strong documents you have from your work and even the Landed properties plus a very fat bank account statement and apply for UK visitor visa they will sure give you,UK is not about traveling experience but prove them that you have enough money for your trip.then you can add a trip to Dubai and if you have enough try visiting one Schengen country eg like France.after all these trips US visa we be a don deal for you.American is no longer give Nigerians visitor visas.my elder sister was denied last Thursday as well,be cause she has never left Nigeria before but shes married with 3kids and the live in there own house there in lekki the conference she paid 200k ($600) to attend is not possible any more because of visa denial.though the conference said to those whom their visas will be denied their money will be sent back.just work on your travels history.America no trust naija again ooo.
