    we went in to SS today to apply for SS Cards. How long after you applied you got yours?

      Which SS office did you go to and how? As a walk-in or did you take an appointment? Because I have heard they are closed.

      Fort Myers Fl. After calling them 3 times, I mailed the green cards and passports along with the application form. They called once they received it and made an appointment.

      the building was closed, the guard opened the door for us and we saw 2 employees working, looks like most of them working from home.
