You can’t be doing things like putting money into their account to show what you think they need. Looks suspicious. They have what they have, and that’s all there’s is to it. They tell the truth, they will respond to things they are asked, they will not be invited to “make statements”.

Oh no I’M not doing anything , I’m just helping them fill the application and finding answers as regarding financial statements and the form and other relevant docs

I don’t want to create anything fake everything by the rules , it’s a simple tourist visa so I don’t believe in messing with the law

Yes, they can bring financial statements. But there is no requirement to have a certain amount of money in the bank in order for them to get a visa to the US. Many applicants believe if they have $5k or large sums of money in their account, it will ensure a visa for them. What it shows is that the applicant is capable of financing a trip to the US because a vacation in America can be expensive. But a certain amount of money in their bank account is not a requirement.

Thankyou so much someone Understood my query . Appreciate your response .

You don’t apply, your parents apply. You are not petitioning them for anything. If they are British nationals or nationals of another visa waiver program country, they don’t even have to apply for a visa, just an ESTA (assuming a visit of 90 days or less and no factors like a criminal record that make an ESTA unlikely). Google VWP.

Thanks Susie there was a misunderstanding I just posted the entire query again .

The challenge your parents face in applying for their own tourist (B2) visa, is to overcome their assumed immigration intent, especially since they have a family member in the US.  Their ties to Pakistan will have to be extra-strong to overcome this, as they already have strong ties (you) in the US.  They should apply and see what happens, as it will be up to the officer to decide based on all their completely honest answers on the visa application.

Thank you , appreciate your response .

This is where I’m looking into more that apart from his whole family back there daughters and my brother , his business of 25 plus years which he is very strongly invested in still . What else could we state that might show better chances .

He also has a widow sister who he has been a guardian since 26 years now he’s the only caretaker of her and her 3 young daughters .

And he has two of his kids here my brother in NY and me in Houston so since he’s finally retired from his full time job he can finally enjoy life and spend some time with us in the US and then go to go my other sister in London .

So that’s the plan just get them to travel a bit now .

    They truthfully complete the application.

    There is no funds requirement.

Do you wreck saying they don’t have to submit their bank statements for the past 5-6 months ?

I read your comments carefully, did not see a mention of them being from Pakistan anywhere until this quoted post.

You dont apply for their visa. Your parents apply at a US Embassy/Consulate in Pakistan, and they are the applicants. You can help fill out the ds160 and/or pay. The rest is up to them to convince the CO of their ties to home they would return to. The less you're involved, the better. No documents have to be sent from the US.

    Hello !

I definately did post all the details , I guess it’s some glitch , so excuse the misunderstanding .

When I say I’m filing their case let’s clear that here I’m helping them in processing their visa from Pakistan .

So since I’m helping them I need to guide them gather all the details as to what documents they need to start preparing there , what proof is needed that they should be preparing and how much funds THEY need to maintain in their accounts as I’m not sponsoring them so all the documents and bank statements will be theirs .

I am looking for all these answers so I could pass on all these information for them to prepare and first fill out the form pay fees and then prepare for the interview and take along all the required documents .

Hope it clears out what sort of help and assistance I’m looking for .

My dad is a retired police official over 65 who runs two business now along with my brother .

My mom is a house over 55 .

    Thanks

Huh? You said you have a Green Card? You do not need a Tourist Visa.

Guys please read my comments carefully , they are in Pakistan and hold a Pakistani passport .

They DO need a Visa to come visit USA .

Now pls read my query and assist it accordingly thanks .

And the VISA is for them NOT me . I’m already resident of US with green card .
