Ah, that is very possible. I have no idea how long this will add to my wait for the oath ceremony. I hope it's not another year 🫣

I had my combo interview January 15th, told I was approved and both cases were updated online to 'approved' the very next day. The officer said 3-5 weeks to receive my oath ceremony date. Well I woke up this morning to a text message saying there had been action taken on my case, so I flew out of bed and logged into my laptop, only to see the update is "Case is still being processed by USCIS". Little teasers! I know it is far from it, but this feels like the longest wait, being the final hurdle.

My i-751 was pending for 40 months and no sign of any movement. I filed my N-400 last August after reading it can speed things up and I had my combo interview yesterday with approval status updates on both of my cases today. I would highly recommend applying for N-400 on the chance it bumps your case along.

Well I attended my combo interview. They did not let my wife past security when he looked at my interview letter even though I told them it was a combo interview. It's a good job I took more evidence on advice of this forum because at first he said there was a problem as my i-751 was still pending and they need further evidence. I told him my wife is in the parking lot and does he need her to come up because they wouldn't let her up! He sent me back to the waiting room for 5 minutes and called me back. Eventually after looking through my evidence and asking me questions he proceeded to the N-400 questions and tests. After my heart sank initially he gave me the news I am approved and to wait for a letter for the oath ceremony!! I am so relieved!!

I finally got notice that my interview is scheduled for January 16th! I notice there has been no update on my I-751 filed in 2022. Will they combine the interview? Does my spouse need to attend also? There is no mention of the I-751 in the interview notice, just N400.
