  1. Is the health coverage an issue that will affect your vote for a new president? Do you want universal health care? I think we need to something in this country about the health care system. How can the richest nation in the world, and we have people who go without any kind of heath care.

It is my aspiration that health finally will be seen not as a blessing to be wished for, but as a human right to be fought for.

Yes. I want some sort of univeral health care system, but I'm not sure I want a government-run universal health care system.

  2. As for doing things fairly, there's always the humanitarian way. In other words, using something like the Golden Rule we all hopefully learned in kindergarten. Or as Dog himself so eloquently put it one time: 'Teaching them how to fish for themselves'. This involves making sure there are no bullies (like now) that happen to be our friends by convenience to us.

Yes, we should all bow down to the Golden Rule. If somebody breaks a law then we all should think "Gosh, if I had broken that law I'd sure want people to forgive me and forget it" and thus forgive and forget all the laws broken by others.

I'm sure murderers would be happy if we followed the Golden Rule too, because nobody wants to go to jail for murder so we certainly shouldn't send them to jail either.

  3. DOVER, N.H. -- As Senator John McCain rolled down a New Hampshire highway today in his "Straight Talk Express" campaign bus, he listened to a description of the latest attack on him by his chief rival in this state's primary, Mitt Romney.

He smirked as he heard the former Massachusetts governor's assertion that McCain wanted to allow illegal immigrants to remain permanently in the United States.

Asked how he intended to respond, the Arizona Republican said: "Never get into a wrestling match with a pig. You both get dirty -- and the pig likes it."

The back-of-the-bus compartment in which McCain was holding forth went silent for several seconds. Finally, a reporter asked: was McCain comparing Romney to a pig? McCain laughed and paused as he formulated his response: "That was a general philosophical approach to American politics."

Apprently McCain doesn't like people spelling out the truth.

  4. I have been registered to this real estate listings email alert here in westside LA - every single day for the past month I have seen a listing for a home that is in foreclosure.

We looked at that realtor on Abbott Kinney - 1BR, 1BA condos for $1 mil. #######? Where is the cheap stuff???

So far people can still make the payments on the cheap stuff!

  5. A tax on spending is a much heavier tax on the poor than it is on the rich. While the rich may spend more money in general, they usually spend much less percentage-wise of their incomes than poor people. So a poor family that lives hand-to-mouth gets taxed on 100% of their income and a rich person who only spends $2 million out of their $10 million of income is only taxed at 20%.

  6. I ask him to make love with me everytime he don't feel like it?

    silly question?

Stop using the term "make love" because to a lot of guys that's a complete turn-off. willy_nilly.gif

Try "Give it to me!", "Do me!", or something a a LOT more vulgar.

  7. Here is his post:

So we do secret Santa here with all the employees at Disability Resource Association. I am the Secret Santa for a very kind lady named Gina. We post what we would like in the Borad Room so our Santas can get us good stuff. Gina asked for Missouri Lotto cards this year. So I bought her three $10.00 cards. I had someone else deliver the my presents to her this morning and left to run some arends. When I got back Gina had scratched off her cards and was screaming. One of the cards I bought for her was a $250,000.00 winner.

I am really happy for her.

I know the first thing I'd do is go home and cry myself to sleep. :crying:

If you gave away a winning ticket like that would you expect/hope that the recipient split it with you?

If you received a winning ticket would you split it with the giver?
