Hi, In regard to the misspelled name: I sent them a photocopy of my mom's biographic page from her passport. They changed the name according to that. You may call them to see if they are willing to change it immediately.

Hi, how long did the NVC correct you mom misspelled name? coz I have a problem on that and is it okay if we summit the DS-260 and AOS form even if its misspelled? i hope you reply back. thank you.

  2. Hello everyone, I have some questions and hope you can help me. So our petition was approved already and it was in NVC but the thing is they misspelled my husband's name, we paid for the fees already and submitted a case inquiry in NVC. How long will the NVC correct or change my husband's name online? And can we fill up already the IV form even if my husband's name is misspelled? Hoping I can get some answers coz it really stress me out on this. thank you.

Aw I'm very sorry for that! We are prepared for all possibilities, bad or good. Thankfully we are together, and I have a residency permit to stay in my husband's country. I miss the food in America but my family understands why I'm here!

I hope my husband have a dual citizenship so he can stay here too with me. I just really missed him. 😢 . I hope they approve it once we send the additional documents. 🙏

Don't allow this to break you down. See this as a test that you MUST pass. It's 342 days of waiting for me. Still waiting to receive my NOA2. Did you read my second response to you about the RFE deadline and about making sure you submit ALL additional information and documents requested AT ONCE, when responding back to the RFE?

Yes i've read it. Once we get the RFE letter and depends what kind of documents they are requesting. If its just a simple document that we can provide then we will not get an attorney but if we need further more assistance we will get some help by other people who knows that.

Goodmorning Tan and Gen. First of all, I would advise you NOT to panic. The RFE is NOT a DENIAL; it is only a DELAY in the process. There is absolutely no cause for alarms, if you received a RFE (Request for Further Evidence). From what I know, I understand that the USCIS issues a RFE whenever they want more evidence or whenever an application is missing something or incomplete.. Most importantly, the USCIS

processes and approves cases with RFE  - after satisfying or providing the additional evidences requested, usually within 2weeks to 2months before sending off to the NVC. So don't be troubled about the RFE. Provide the additional evidences requested and you are good to go. We hope to hear from you when you finally get your NOA2. We wish you all the best.

Thank you for the advice, right night now me and my husband are waiting for the mail on what additional evidence we need to submit to them. It just make me so sad that after 11months of waiting we got an RFE. But im still thinking positive and praying that its just a simple documents that we need to submit. 🤞

Hello. Good day. Did you tried to call the USCIS again and ask the status of your case? They didn't touch my case yet and im thinking if i should submit an inquiry already at the end of the month.

We have the same PD and I had the same situation. My case update was January 31, 2019. I thought they was going to finally approve us. I swear the wait is a killer, just want to be reunited with my hubby again..... I just hope and pray we all will get approved by the end of this month or the beginning of next month cause being away from your spouse is so stressful..... I wonder why Nebraska is taking so long to approve tho? Any ideas?

You're lucky they update your case last January 31,2019 ,in my case they update it last June 7,2018. And from that date they didn't touch it already, so i don't know whats going on to my papers. I hope they didn't misplace it or anything that happens bad to it. 🤞

Hello, our case receiving date is the 5th of June and we still didn't get our NOA2 yet. We are also at Nebraska center.

On the official site - the average waiting for the CR1 in Nebraska center is 7.5 to 9 months.

The other centers have less waiting period but Nebraska is so long.

I hope you keep me updated and I will do the same.

    Good luck.

Okay thanks. Update me too if you got approve. 🙏
