Hi
This might have been asked before but now due to the whole corona virus and delays. When it is finally safe to travel again, would me and my 2 children be able to travel to the US for the summer to be with my fiancé out there even though our paperwork is pending?
TIA

This is exactly what i needed to hear right now. Thank you!!
Worrying pandemic times and visa situations do not mix 😬😲 xxx

VJ guesstimates are exactly that, guesses. The USCIS does not go by VJ guesses.
The timeline guesses will change as soon as there are sufficient data points to move the needle for any pandemic impact.
USCIS will not correspond to you about delays
Totally get it. I was just curious as its obviously a tool on here that I thought would have been quite useful

Hi All,
This might seem like a ridiculous question but at this point i'm hoping there's no such thing.
My immigration timeline on here stated the deadline for which my application could be adjudicated was the 8th April, I haven't had any correspondence for delays due to covid. I am just wondering how close to the deadline on here people actually had their notices.
TIA

Oh no, this is an ongoing thing, i came off them suddenly a few months back and it effectively made me crash... so i have to be put back on them for a period of time for them to be effective again to then wean off them as to not upset my body again. I should have been more clear, and you are absolutely correct the paper work and things I never would have thought of it is more difficult than anticipated
-
Thank you for that, im currently working with the GP to come off them (you have to slowly come off them apparently) i will be off them long before my medical so that with an accompanying letter should suffice (fingers crossed)
-
Hi,
I have a query with regards the medical. I have been on an anti anxiety form of medication for a little while (without going into too much detail to bore you all, just anxiety since having children 🙄😁) no risks, no previous issues with regards anything other than anxiety. Will this be an issue for me?

So..... a few weeks has gone by and everything is more clear with the help of you guys. Rapidvisa needed addresses from being 16 years old to check whether I would need a police Certificate or not so only 5 years of addresses were required for the petition to which i give. The petition has been sent and I've had a NOA1...... now for the long anxious wait!

Just asking.
I didn't know ACRO did the police Certificates too i was just stating i have heard and am aware of them
-
So it turns out after speaking to rapidvisa and him telling me i should "declare" my addresses from being 16 even when its not the form requirement i was then told by the same person to amend my petition to show 5 years worth of addresses. The list of addresses is for a police Certificate which the individual gets not sure why he told me they are needed by rapidvisa for a police Certificate 🤪🤪🤪

First place to check for all things for the London Embassy is the US Embassy UK where you can find this answer.
If you have resided in the United Kingdom for 6 months or more since the age of 16, you are required to obtain a police certificate from the ACPO Criminal Records Office (ACRO). Further information is available from their website at www.acro.police.uk.
Note: UK police certificates are valid for 12 months only. Failure to present all necessary and valid police certificates at the time of the interview will incur significant delays to your application.
Second place is the UK sub-forum.
Thank you I know about Acro i got a SAR from them not so long back

Perfect thank you i have just realised asking on here is better than any information given by rapidvisa

Another post from me!!!
Am I right in saying that being from the UK I need to get a police certificate from ACRO? Ive seen there is alot of talk about fingerprinting with certificates and as far as i am aware that doesnt happen with these. I will be interviewing at London Embassy

It's a good idea to know your address information since the age of 16 to know what potential police certificates that may be required but that is for your information

Just in case you haven't chanced upon them, here are some helpful links:
Visa Journey K-1 Guides:
https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1tips
Regional Sub-Forum (For Country/Embassy Specific Questions):

Some information on the guide may be outdated or may not apply to where you're applying from. (So always cross-check with the official USCIS and/or Embassy instructions.)
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Ive just seen the k1 tips it actually sounds alot more straightforward than i expected

The USCIS is rather stringent. If it's not too much work to edit, I think that you should just include your previous addresses in the past 5 years (2014 to present).
This is what im thinking ive just asked rapidvisa to amend it so i can reprint. I will never use a service likethat again. Ive learned more here now in 10 minutes than i did with them i feel like im questioning them because ive researched the process and then they admit to errors
-
I recently had a subject access request done for the police and had to give 10 years of addresses i had a car crash for which i went to court for so i needed to check it wasnt on my record. They do advise that addresses are useful but in the UK only name and dob is used to search 😁

It only asks for 5 years, there is no need to go beyond that.
Thats what I thought i have given from 2010 on the petition i will leave it at that im not adding anymore supplement pages to the petition. I understand they ask for information and you provide them with the information they require if its not necessary im not causing myself anymore anxiety by trying to remember addresses (i previously married military and moved around 23 times in 10 years)

You should really fill fill out your timeline, it helps heaps

BTW, you should fire the now and take over with the help from VJ. You will be better off in the long run.

23 minutes ago, Ed&Midori1031 said:I used RapidVisa myself, and it was just as annoying with me filling in the addresses of the past 5 years. In the I-129f application itself it does say to list them, unfortunately. Hopefully your fisnce can remember all the addresses if they moved around a lot!
Are you saying you did more than 5 years?

I feel quite at home asking bizarre questions 🤣🤣

In their ads it says: "Services endorsed by VisaJourney"
Wow, ive just paid them money for services that they admitted they were incorrect with last night!!!! 🤬 Im naturally an overthinker and thought getting them involved would make it easier yet i spend more time asking questions on here!!!
-
Thank you, I have done the research and found the same I have no idea why they would be asking me for this. I am just wondering whether rapidvisa use a generic template
-
I have read the forms and I knew there wasn't. They are constantly telling me im going to get a RFE if I dont do certain things that I know aren't part of the process
-
So.....
Rapidvisa are currently doing my paperwork for me with massive regret. Can someone tell me is there anywhere in the K1 process that asks for the beneficiarys address history going back more than 5 years?
TIA
