    K-1 filers - JAN/FEB 2019 NOA2--> Montreal Consulate

    I wonder why some people get emails and some people get mail....

    Did you receive an email? Did you update your email address with NVC?

    What is the current time frame to receive packet 3 once it hits the consulate?
  4. Call first thing... the moment they open. The person that you get will try to help you but when they can’t or don’t seem to get you the answers, thank them for their help and ask if you can speak to a tier 2. They will escalate it then. First thing in the morning, you should be able to get straight through to a tier 2. Or you may have to leave a call back number. It only took me 4 minutes to get a call back. Be as nice as you can be. Stay calm. The tier 2’s have been so nice when I talk to them, and have been insanely helpful.
  5. Apparently it was caused by a reprint in my case and there are not any issues. Just spoke to a tier 2. I am so relieved.
  6. So it could have been an error like that for me too. USCIS had told me it was not mailed out yet. I spoke to a tier 2 who told me I’d be notified when it was mailed. Could this have been the notice of mailing maybe?
  7. I’m so confused.... I logged into USCIS this morning and now my page shows a second approval... NOA2-1/30 But now it shows a second Approval.... dated 2/14!!!! what the heck is going on here???? I already received my first approval letter!!! Does this mean they forwarded it to the NVC?

    Haha!!! Actually I was looking today and it’s more around 50-100 if you have to pay. Usually the health clinics give the immunizations for free here though. Health care isn’t nearly as expensive as people think here... until you get older... lol. That’s where it gets crazy.

    He has to have those second doses and a flu shot. luckily I found a walk in clinic doing them Tuesday while I’m there.

    I have all his immunizations records and he is short a bunch! They weren’t required by Canada at the time but are required here. Poor guy! I feel so bad he has to do this! He hates getting shots. 😢

    You’re 8 days before mine! Fingers crosses that it happens next week! Congratulations!!!! Oh... did you have all your immunizations? Apparently he does not.... I’ve been trying to find somewhere to do them all morning

    They told me they hadn’t mailed mine yet at all. I just wonder if they really know if it’s gone out at all now. I’m not gonna call them anymore. I’m just gonna call the NVC. Unless the NVC doesn’t have it by end of February. Then I’ll call the USCIS back. The tier 2 I spoke with Monday told me she sent a reminder email to the agent to mail it and that I would receive a letter confirming once it’s mailed. That just doesn’t sound right to me lol....

    So USCIS told you they hadn’t sent it yet but the NVC received it?

    It has not, confirmed, been forwarded to the NVC yet. 😢 I’m totally bummed. Was praying for a fast turn around (as I’m sure everyone is).... she promised it would be within the next two weeks.

    This is so weird. I called last week to see if USCIS could confirm that our case was forwarded/mailed to the NVC and the lady said that it was mailed but she didn’t know the date. So I decided to call and speak to a tier 2 this morning to try to get the date it was mailed, and the lady said that it had not been forwarded/mailed to the NVC yet and that it can up to 90 days for them to mail it. Waiting for a call back from a tier 2 right now.
