I was put in AP after interview, because I didn't have the joint sponsor's IRS tax return transcript. But I submitted it via email the same day. It took the embassy a few days to open my email and let me know, they have received the email. 

After 3 weeks I received my Visa. So basically about 4 weeks in AP.

And I am a 29 years old male.

Just called the CBP office and got it corrected. Checked it again online and it has already been corrected

Hi, so I just checked my I-94 form online, and my name is incorrect. Is that going to cause any problems later?

Hi again, can you let me know when you receive the email to pick up your passport? Cause mine was issued on 18 march. And I haven't received any emails regarding picking up the passport as well.

Hi, since you are from Afghanistan, you know we had three days off because of the new year. 21st,22nd, and 23rd. So if you count 18,19, 20, 24,25,26 .It has only been 6 days. Just be patient, you will get your visa this week or next week. Good luck

you should get an email from the website where you registered your address for delivery or pickup your passport when it gets sent with your visa

So I was wondering if the CEAC status will be updated, when the passport is ready to be picked up? Or they just send an email, without the status getting any updates?

You are welcome. Btw they only asked for 2017 or 2018 tax return transcript, but it won't hurt if you have for last three years. I have no idea, why you can't seem to upload your pics, because I never bothered to upload pics myself. And I donno about the size of the pic, but it should be in jpg format I think. 

I had my K1 interview at the beginning of this month and I didn't have the tax return transcript of my joint sponsor. They handed me the 221g refusal sheet and asked me to submit the IRS tax return transcript. I immediately emailed them back the tax return transcript. After two weeks in AP, my visa got issued.

but reading online it seems like everyone provided other evidence that I'm worried if I need or not. For example an 1040 form and paystubs. We

have a letter from his employee that provide salary and copies of last 2 W2s. Am I screwed without the 1040?

No, they didn't. My past is actually quite simple. I had the same job from the day I started till now. That might be the reason they didn't give me that form. They handle everyone's case differently. Anyhow I wish you and your fiance good luck. Hopefully you get the visa soon. 😀

15 days, because I didn't have the tax return transcript of my sponsor. Otherwise it would have gotten approved right after the interview. They gave me the 221g refusal sheet and asked for the tax return transcript and i emailed them the tax return the same day.

Yes, it was still in AP, but yesterday afternoon changed to issued. 😀

Which means that changing creation date is a good sign.

That's a 221(g) they issued to you for additional documentation. Simple fix. Just follow their instructions and once returned and it satisfies the CO then he/she will complete the adjudication with a case approval/denial. Chances are if they are asking and your returning the documents you will have no problems with an approval.  BTW everyone goes under AP after the interview in fact they go back and forth in and out till the visa is inserted into the passport and your status is set to issued.

Thank you, I sent the documents at the same day and I got a reply that they have received the documents and my visa application is under review. Still under administration processing. Hopefully I get the visa soon. I really miss my fiancé.

As jakejon has written in his comment "CO's are trained well" . I have to agree with him. They will know if it's a legit relationship or not. That might the case for me. Mine is legit that's why he didn't ask for more proof.

No, they need to get the documents they asked for first and then further consideration will be given. For now I got a yellow refusal/collection card.

It is neither a good sign or a bad sign. They believe that you are a couple and hence they never asked for any verbal evidence or paper. It's not uncommon for this to not be a questions asked at the interview. Some embassies ask for another "intent of marriage" letter others don't. Your fine.
