    Oh yes yes yes 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🍷🍷🍷🍷🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍾🍾🍾🍾

I’m getting worried everyone, it’s been 1 month since I applied for my EAD renewal and no notice of action letter yet. I just want to make sure I didn’t miss anything and waiting a month with nothing is worrying me. I’ve heard lots of stories about EAD and I don’t understand why Vermont takes this long to send NOA letters.

Congratulations. I do have a question, so you received your EAD C09 and your travel document and now your VAWA has been approved already? You also got approval for EAD under C31? Are they approving VAWA this fast now?

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I filed in Nov of 2017. I had a RFE request which I submitted in March of 2018. Then after that I didn't hear anything untill March of 2019. The only update I received in March of 2019 that they are still reviewing my case. Every two weeks I received the same update till June 14th, when the status changed to your card is being produced. So hold tight wait another month or 2 and you will recieve your approval. 😇

Any 2018 VAWA filers with approval yet?

I applied March 2017 didn't hear anything until November 2018 when I received an RFE..my lawyer delayed me as I had my RFE ready..but she travelled and finally it was sent out in Jan 2019 and approved March! But hey not everyone gets RFE..just incase you're anticipating one..relax God is in control!🙏RFE doesn't mean God isn't in control though..😂😂 it just delays..never DENIED!

Amen to that. Now you’re waiting for your interview? It’s sad that the process that used to take 6-8 months is now 2yrs. I’m praying for no RFE notifications and a speedy approval. The main focus is just working and filing for divorce once I’m able to. God bless you and everyone for the constant support and speedy responses. We’re all winners in Gods name.

You are right dear! I remember arguing with my attorney that I needed to renew my EAD c9 way before expiration..but she vehemently refused saying they will return it..I think the problem is when these updates are made..folks in general do not know as they don't check to see what's new..which shouldn't be so as change is always expected especially with USCIS! Although I have my EAD C31 now, I'm still waiting on my EAD C9 renewal from since Feb! Which could have been taken care of had we filed much earlier! I'm not sure I will renew EAD again before my i485 interview...hopefully! But just incase I need it, I will make certain I renew way early as USCIS allows to be on the safe side!

Congrats on your C31. I definitely can’t afford to be without a job, so knowing renewals are taking 4-6 months, this update definitely helps. I’m in the beginning process of my journey. I was freaking out at first when I read 120 days and that it might be returned. I thank God my lawyer was right. How long did it take for tour VAWA approval? Any RFE

You filed too early, they are going to send it back. You can only file for renewal as early as 120 days before it expires.

Hey there..I believe Sandra and Fedaniela addressed a similar issue.. Are you divorced? You can take your divorce decree to support any explanation..at least that's what the above mentioned members adviced for an enquiry same as yours just read previous five post on this same thread..you'll find it.Cheers!☺

I found this on USCIS cite:

Additionally, USCIS is now allowing EAD renewals to be filed earlier – up to 180 days (it was 120 days) prior to the expiration of the current EAD document.   Even with this earlier EAD renewal eligibility, the issue often is EAD holders forgetting to file their EAD renewals until it is too late.   For certain holders, specifically H-4 EAD and L-2 EAD, it continues to be very important to file renewals as early as possible and ideally 180 days prior to EAD expiration.

  7. I need help people I think I made a mistake. My lawyer told me to file my EAD renewal this month which is 6 months early and she didn’t say anything about fees. I mailed it off, I didn’t include a payment for renewal. I thought that I don’t have to pay based on what people posted on here. My I485 is pending and I paid for that and 765 application, but I didn’t know I needed to pay for 765 renewal and another biometrics. I’m so confused and worried now. I couldn’t afford the $750 lawyer wanted to charge me and now I think my package will be returned.

Yes once again my attorney gave me the wrong information. I’m also reading online that I have to pay a renewal fee again, is this correct? I didn’t know that. I paid the first time. Omg I guess I screwed this whole thing up. The attorney wanted to charge me $750 which I don’t have and I didn’t realize I had to pay again to renew. The lawyer kept saying we would send it out 6 months prior and nothing about a fee.

    You are welcome family😎

Hey All I just filed in my EAD renewa C09, which doesn't expire until Dec 2019. How long are people usually waiting for EAD renewal? I see the website says 5-8 months? I hope people are getting renewals from Vermont sooner than that. What are your experiences? How long have you waited? I read on here we get a 6 months extension with the notice of action if you file 6 months early before expiration correct? My DL expires in Jan 2020, so I'm not too worried yet. I'm praying I get my renewed card in 4 months.

Don't worry you can tell the officer you made a mistake when typing your date of birth, make sure you are taking with you a copy of your birth certificate and respective translation.

How long is renewal taking from Vawa office? I'm getting ready to send my EAD renewal. I hope it doesn't take more than 6 months.

Don't paid that you can you filed yourself, did you initially paid I-485 fee??? if you did EAD renewal does not required any fee... You can do it yourself is very easy follow the I-765 instruction on USCIS website, also send along a copy of your I-485 receipt, if you did not paid any fee when you File I-485 than submit the I765 renewal together with I-912 fee waiver...

I mean marriage with my abuser. I’m just so overwhelmed and exhausted. So should I just send a copy of my I485 and the application to where? Vermont or NBC or both?

I paid for my first I485 that’s pending from my first marriage. It was placed on hold. So should I file send to Vermont and NBC? It doesn’t say anything about my I485 being in Vermont.

Okay thank you. I think it got denied because I went to my interview and informed them I filed vawa and the officer agreed to put I485 on hold. I don’t really know I don’t speak to my abuser just waiting for divorce. Thank you guys for all the support as we continue to pray.

If your I-485 is placed on hold, will it say transferred to another juridiction? I filed my vawa 5 months ago, I had my interview 2 months ago where the officer agreed to put my I485 on hold. I know my I130 denial update is separate from my I485. My attorney says last she checked my I485 is onhold until vawa so I can renew my EAD. I just don't know, I don't want to call USCIS and cause problems. I just want to know should I see the same updates people are seeing that their I485 has been transferred? If officer says they'll place your I485 onhold, will you see any updates after 60 days or not. This process is stressful, I was confident and calm until reading other posts where it says their I485 has been transferred but I don't have such status. My I485 still says scheduled for interview. My I130 denial update came in after pending since last year and after my interview when I told officer I filed VAWA.

Nothing to worry, my ex- withdrew it too but you are protected now by Vawa, all to needed to  proof you were married at some point.

Yout ex-lawyer and ex-abuser wI’ll get a copy of  the letter stating why it was revoked.

You don’t need to have a copy but you can requested your ex-lawyer if you want. All good!

I-130 is filed to establish that a valid relationship exist between a USC or LPR  in our case is the first phase for an Spouse petition.

You cannot convert an I-130 to I-360 (the conversion only happens if the petitioner died and the beneficiary became a Widow than will be automatically converted and proof have to be submit like a death certificate, this happen to a friend of mine) but for VAWA petitions you can just transfer or use the priority date, Your I-485 is not base on you I-130 anymore because the family relationship  does not exist anymore , you will move forward I-485 now with Vawa, but please make sure your I-485 is not denied, and is really on hold. Contact USCIS to verify and keep checking I-485 online status.

Thank you. I checked with attorney and she said my I485 is still pending. My status still shows interview scheduled. The officer told us months ago that they were placing it on hold. I’m praying it’s still the case.
