  1. You should be fine. They should already have all your medical exam results and your vaccination sheet from your K-1 packet. If they didn't request it, it means they already had it.
  2. They won't keep your passport, they'll just ask for it during the interview and return it. You can travel within the US with your passport until you get your green card.
  3. Make sure it's not a country that the US does not recognize. I am from Palestine, but my green card says Jordan because the US doesn't recognize my state, and it's custom to put our country of birth as Jordan.
  4. Got my Green Card in mail today! Weird thing is that USCIS website is still stuck on "Card was mailed to me", and I never got my tracking number. i thought I'll wait few more days until I get it, but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.
  5. UPDATE: The name on the back of the card on the bottom, where it shows the name in LAST<<FIRST<MIDDLE<<<<<< format, has my actual full name there.
  6. I got my green card today, and my first and last name are correct. Keep in mind that my middle name is two initials in the format of (First A B Last), and my green card only has my first initial, so it says Last name: Last Given name: First A while all my other documents have: First A B Last Is this a problem? or is that how middle names are put on green cards? I heard they kinda struggle with double middle names.. any input is appreciated, thank you
  7. How long does it take to get the tracking number after my status changes to "Card was mailed to me"?
  8. It shouldn't be a problem, as you only need your green card to be eligible for admission. You'll need a passport to leave the USA, but only your green card to re-enter.
  9. Detroit Field Office. Had my interview today. Here's my timeline. Application Received on Oct 21st. NOA1 on Dated Oct 30th. Biometrics on Nov 19th. Interview on Feb 13th, today. Interview went smoothly. Took 10 mins. IO was the sweetest lady. Most questions were the security questions at the end of i485 if im a terrorist lol. Rest were basic ones about how we met, the info we submitted in i485, and what we had as evidence of bona fide marriage. We had lease, joint bank statements, joint credit cards and pictures, IO didn't even care to look at the pictures. We were approved on the spot, and 4 hours after interview status changed into "New card is being produced". Overall experience was very smooth and easy and pleasant. Good luck to you all in your journeys.

  11. I'm no expert, but I see the checked box down under that says you have completed vaccination requirements. Wait for other people's take on this.
  12. I've heard about this happening before. It does not mean you were denied in any way. Sometimes appointments get cancelled and rescheduled due to the office being closed on that day, or the immigration officer can't make it on that day for whatever reason..etc Expect a letter soon for rescheduling. I'd advice to contact USCIS over the phone. If you don't receive a rescheduling letter soon, and your interview day comes, I'd advise to show up for the interview with all notices received from USCIS, even though it had been cancelled. I've heard of a similar story, but the couple never got a follow up letter, and didn't show up for their interview, and got denied. Good luck
