Hi gang!!

I am crazy excited, I leave for London tomorrow night. British Airways and I will be winging our way from BWI to Heathrow and then finally .....FINALLY I'll get to see him again. I can't wait!! Sad part...I'm only there for 8 days..but some time with him is better than no time with him.

Weird part? I won't see him again till he flies here with a one way ticket. This whole process is making me crazy..I'm trying not to be to pessimistic or down, he's being the poistive one..imagine that *L*

Anyway wish me luck and I'll make sure I wave at Big Ben for ya'll that haven't seen it in awhile *L*

Well just to update on our progress. Medical is scheduled for April 27th. Packet 3 docs are being mailed back, I think this weekend. Police certs have been requested...now we wait to find out when his interview will be.

So far so good!!

AND I see him next Saturday...I can't wait!!!

Can anyone tell me if it really takes the full estimated 6 weeks to get your police reports back in the UK??

The immigration process in and of itself is too damned hard. Yes, the I864 isn't fair, but it is life. We as citizens of the US have to accept the responsibility of bring a foreign national into this country. Financially as well as otherwise. It's just life.

If in the end you want something easier, where PreNups can be controlled by you, then Immigration isn't your route. I also think, conversations like this one are best had between you and your possible future Mrs. & a lawyer.

Good Luck if this is the route you choose...I wouldn't recommend it if you don't really love your lady.

I've just recently come off of 50mg. of Zoloft...but that had nothing to do with Immigration, that helped me get through my divorce and the reasons why and so on...but I'm off it!! I'm getting better =)

Now I take everyday B-12 and Biotin. I also enjoy Malibu & Cranberry, when I'm out with friends. Mostly however I'm just on...the phone talking to the man I love as much as possible Or I'm spending time with my beautiful daughter, or I'm chomping chocolate!! All hail it's power

We're 5 hours apart. I was really enjoying the last few weeks of being only 4 hours apart. Thankfully he's the one that's ahead of me. He just doesn't sleep. We talk almost every single night on the phone till about 1 or 2 am his time then he sleeps. Whereas I still have the rest of the evening to unwind before I sleep. Right now I'm sorta just hanging out on the computer waiting for him to get home from work!

I have never in my entire life heard of suicide attempts as being jail time worthy. That's ridiculous! What state could be so cold and callous? I agree with the others to just get the medical release from the psychologist and then don't worry about it! ....

Life isn't perfect for anyone that I know!

Ok...here's something I don't understand. C got his Packet 3. He said the DS forms will be easy enough to fill out. I'm compiling my financial stuff to take to him in 3 weeks when I go see him. He's making calls about the police cert. and the medical won't be till next month sometime.

How on this earth do you already know when your interview will be? I'm sorta freaking out since I haven't actually seen the Packet 3...when does he find out about his interview or does he have to call and schedule it? I don't get it....

I'm compiling every possible bit of financial paperwork I can to include with my Affidavit of Support. I've got bank letters, job letters, the form itself, a copy of my life insurance policy and I've kept my paystubs for over a year.

My question is this....per our lawyers advice, my ex husband and I filed jointly in Feb. for 2006. Even though his information is on the taxes, do you think it will effect anything? Should I include just my W-2's?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!
