    Hello,

you need to redo it... they can easily write it in it... or just do a new one.... to avoid 3 weeks of unnecessary delay. you would have to scan all the documents seperately, if not they will reject it.

Thank you. I have just gone back to have it rectified. I believe it was a mistake from the person typing the form. Submitting our forms this weekend. Finger crossed

  2. Hey guys, please I’m in a dilemma right now regarding my police report.

I went ahead to do my police clearance at Alagbon, Ikoyi but I have just realized on the Police Character Certificate that was issued to me, it only carried my middle name and my first name but surname was omitted.

Do I need to go back or not for this correction or I shouldn’t since the CRO 21A form carried my full name including my surname.

Hi we're in Japan and submitted in April 2018 to Nebraska.

i have no update in the web tool and no letter.

we submitted case outside normal to follow up our case but still no update, it shows reviewing by officer. It will be a year since we got NOA1.... is anyone here with Nebraska filler and if anyone had similar situation and got to resolve, would you please kindly give and share your advice?

We are in Japan , my husband is American citizen and I'm Japanese.

    Many thanks

What you need to do is request for a case outside processing time with USCIS. It should take approx about 3-6 days for them to write back with update on your case. I hope this help. Stay strong

Has anyone finished their case at the NVC Center? I am too a April filer 04/02/18

We share same date. My case was approved and was sent to NVC in the email notice but we are yet to receive the notice in mail. I believe it won’t be long now after the long wait. Please keep me updated as to how case progresses while I do you the honours too. May we have a cause for celebration so we can be with our significant other half in due time.

  6. I am also past processing time because my receipt date is April 02/2018 and I did request for a case outside processing time and initially they sent me an email saying they would get back to me on the 22nd of March,2019 then couple of days later I received a NOA which I have attached as belows. Frustrated is an understatement of what I feel right now but a lot of unfortunate things are happening around the world and I can only be greatful for everything and I am still living in the hope that good things come to those who wait.

Hi, so my cousin is actually in the same boat. Her husband ( US resident) received their NOA1 on December 18th, 2017 and they have not heard anything since. Apparently USCIS can only speak to the petitioner because she called today and after waiting on the phone for over 30 min was told they couldn't give her any information they just said it can take up to 25 months for them to hear back.

Is the timeline different for a US determinant Resident submitting an I-130 for his spouse? This is the first time i hear that it cn take up to 25 months.

I believe the timeline could be different if it’s a US citizen that is the petitioner. There has actually been status updates which means they’re working on it. I just pray they come back with an approval notice because it’s been a very long journey for us. Good luck

  8. Quick one guys, I don’t know if I am the only one in this boat regarding my i130 which is on the 336 days since the last update. We received a notice that an RFE was mailed to my wife’s address but she never received it then we requested for an address change which was successful and yet a duplicate wasn’t sent till this very day. I don’t know what could be causing the delay although I’ve since requested for a ‘Case Outside Processing Time’ and I have been told to expect to hear from USCIS on the 03/22/2019. Thank you

Our original RFE issued in early Jan was also lost so we requested for an address change on Jan 25. USCIS confirmed us the address change was completed on Jan 31 and the duplicated RFE was mailed on the same day.

Maybe you should send a inquiry to USCIS using the following link, choose the option of “did not receive notice by mail”:

    https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

    Good Luck!

Thank you. I actually did that and we aren’t even sure if it’s from uscis or the officer working on the case made a mistake. I have requested for a ‘case outside normal processing time’ and I just have to wait for the outcome tomorrow once my wife speak to a tier 2 officer as someone once suggested I do on this forum. I am praying things work out for good because it’s been so tough just sitting and waiting in suspense.

  10. I don’t know if I should be worried right now because uscis are yet to get back to us. My wife would be putting a call through to uscis tomorrow to find out what’s causing the delay because there has been no update on our case since 27/11/2018. My PD was 04/02/2018. Received RFE notice but it wasn’t delivered, we had to change address and yet still nothing. At this point I am frustrated but at the same time I have to keep a glimmer of hope because I believe in the saying ‘good things come to those who wait’ but my patience seem to be wearing thin now. Hopefully I would get some feed back from my wife tomorrow regarding the phone call.

I have experienced this recently and finally I had USCIS faxed the copy of my RFE to me. I will mail the requested documents back to them today and hopefully will get the approval soon. This stupid RFE has delayed my case for over a month. Sigh...

Oh wow I just pray this doesn’t drag on for too long and hoping for a swift resolution in due course. Just keep asking questions
