Our green card is almost here!!! It was supposed to be delivered today, but we had a different postal worker because of the holidays, and they couldn't find the entrance to our condo building. (The entrance is not very clearly marked.) We called the post office and they are holding the envelope so we can pick it up in person tomorrow. We are thankful for tracking information so we knew what the problem was right away. We are also excited to be so close after so many months of waiting!!!
Congratulations!!!!! ❤️

Your zip code determines your jurisdiction/Field Office. The Minneapolis Field Office serves MN, SD, ND and Western Wisconsin. Therefore, your field office is the Minneapolis Field Office. See for yourself. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices
Your file stays at the NBC until you get the "Interview scheduled" notification. It all moves relatively fast until the "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" stage. After that status update, the real wait begins. Sit back and relax. If you are in a dire to start working, you may try to expedite your EAD/AP combo card. Here is the expedite criteria. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/expedite-criteria
Thank you so much for your response! The journey to a thousand miles begins for me next week.. I’m glad I found other people who are in the similar situation I’m in.

I am living in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and will be submitting my AOS documents next week. How likely will my case be sent to the Minneapolis-St. Paul MN office?
