Soooo something happened which is a little bit exciting to me! 🙈

My I-765 Status just changed time “New Card is being produced”, while my I-485 has not changed. Still says that our RFE response has been received. My I-131 is still at “Case was received”.

Was curious if that’s normal or someone experienced something similar? I don’t wanna get too excited about it, can’t help myself to worry about things especially after a RFE. 😅

It looks like someone is getting the EAD/Advance parole card in few days 😍 Congrats guys!!

You know this is exactly what I've been telling myself for the past 2 weeks or so. It feels like people from the fall are moving relatively quickly in comparison to other months. For example, a lot of people from September now have their EADs alongside folk from all the way back from even June, kinda f'd up really.

Most of us filed for a K-1 back in 2019 I'd assume and this is awfully reminiscent of how drastic the change in approval times of the I-129F petition was in comparison to 2018, I remember people waiting 6 months for their approval and us being scared that it would take forever to get things moving but then in 2019 the approval time was averaging around 3 months, which is a crazy difference.

Now I was watching approval times of the I-129F just for curiosity the other day and the approval time seemed to have spiked up again back to 4 ish months to 5. Really makes one consider how lucky one is.

Absolutely. I’ve met couples that filed almost two years ago and they are still waiting for their interview (in New York). I think we’re on a sort of lucky strike despite the face that they’re sending rfie pretty generously.

To me, it looks like they havent even seen a record of birth. Generic letter.

We have received exactly the same letter. They wanted a birth certificate with at least a parent's name on it (the one i submitted only had my name and my date of birth)

Does anyone here on the forum know on average how long will it take for them to go through our cases once they receive the resonse to the RFIE?

  4. Hi fellow October filers. I was checking (as I'm sure most of us are doing almost every day) my uscis status online and I found out that I received a Request for Initial Evidence. We're obviously pretty bummed as we really made sure to include all possible evidences, but do you guys have any idea how this will slow down the process of receiving the EAD combo card / Interview? I still don't know the reason of the RFIE. Thank for your help
