Trust me, I overstand. We tried our hardest to keep things on lock. But it get out, and I can’t tell you the amount of negative energy we get. People just a try style we ting. His family that don’t even know me a carry news go tell him bout me in foreign doing rey tay tay. You can literally feel the negative energy around some folks sometimes. Nobody want to see him prosper, and leave that specific area. Crab in a barrel style.
So...Keeping things to yourself until you can fly out is really and truthfully the best thing you can do. I understand!mek then move and gweh!...have been with my hubby for 3 years I’m tired of long distance now. We’re gonna be married for 2 years next month and when we first got together sas Christ me did waah hide under a rock. The amount a things ppl seh about us and how we ago mash up before we even reach 1 year. My hubby told me some of his friends keep saying me muss have man ova yah a tek care of me cause me too pretty blah blah like are you serious. News will get out but with this specific phase of the filing you have to be tight lip.

Exactly. ... i dont know about no other country but for jamaicans immigration is a bit more personal. .. this is a upgrade .. better opportunity in many ways ... we can't just go to anyone and tell them our business like that. .. you actually got people out here badmineing people because of theses things and will stop at nothing to see you fail and stay here... dont get me wrong i am not speaking down on my country nor my people's and i aint saying America is a bed of rose but if you want to be real here you will admit that what am saying here is true ... well i dont know about anyone of you but i know i got even family members i cant tell about my filing and how far i came with it... so when you hear me saying after my interview ill tell yall my real name bear with me ... i really like yall and i appreciate every information i got here but even my wife ask me not to tell anyone anything until i am tru ((anyone)) meaning the people she and i know and the hatrid she sence or the little evil eyes pose as smile ... this is just my personal experience. .. maybe yall owne different but i just wanted to share this with you all 😩 i like that i can vent here in peace
I totally understand what your saying and it’s so true. I’ve never gotten too personal on visa journey other than update my timeline. One day I was just searching to see if there’s any Jamaican forum’s and I came across this one and I didn’t think it would get this personal but I really appreciate it cause it makes you feel connected. I told my hubby not to tell anyone other than our parents and very very close people to us..... Plus my hubby very private so that helps too, people badmind ova them things here. And I believe there’s more ppl on here reading but not commenting probably have dates but don’t want to say nutn but I totally understand. When my hubby get through I plan to announce it a month after he’s here. Just want the badmind ppl wonder a which part him deh then just blow them up with a picture 🤣🤣🤣

Ok so base on what Ryan say I’m going to let hubby do over is police record just in case. He got his Police record in early February and is interview is late August so the 6 months gonna pass.... So I would rather he walk with old one and the new one just in case cause at this point I don’t want nothing to go wrong....has for medical I told him back in March to get his vaccinations cause if him wait until medical day it’s gonna be too expensive we haffi save litttle money don’t lol.

The embassies are doing social distance... they dont want alot of people in the embassy and or in the room doing the interview to protect the councler officers so thats one reason 2 if they even find out that someone might have covid or coming from an area contaminated with covid they will lock down the embassy again like they did back in February/march when that one woman had the virus and clean it for a month or 2 again we dont need that so please i am begging lets all be on the safe side ... we all are going to get our visa ... 🙋🙋🙋💪💪
I totally understand what your saying and because of covid and the whole social distancing I had email them in June and ask a lot of question and they replied to me with details so because of the responds and the ok of petitioners being able to attend that’s why I wanted to go but after a long talk with hubby just now we decide it’s best I stay. But now I don’t think I will sleep when it’s time for his interview 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I understand because I do not plan on going to JA because of all the cases here in FL. I don't want to be on a plane with a bunch on potentially sick ppl but I personally know ppl who went to JA for less than 7 days since they reopened the borders. Even got random FB messenger questions from another lady who saw me on the PM's lives asking me to tell her what to do etc. She go and come back already too 🤷🏾♀️ You'll be there in spirit if you can't in person.
I hate covid even more because of this 😭. I filed for my dad and he went for his interview last year and I attend with him and it was really nice being there so I wanted to do same for hubby but seeing how things has changed I’ll stay out. 😭😭😭
Stacey I live in Florida too and it’s a mess with all these cases 😫

Honestly stacey I want to take the risk and be there with him but bwoy too much things me a hear...not saying I don’t believe you it’s just all these other things I’m seeing. I know they normally ask what’s the purpose for visit and I would just tell them I’m here to attend my husband visa interview and that I’m here for 5 days. Mi nuh know yaah man 🤦🏽♀️
I watch some YouTube vids but all those I saw are there for vacation I don’t see any yet that just visiting for 3-5 days 😩

I went to Jamaica on June 15 ad soon as they opened them boarders!!! It's a long process to get through the airport in JA and everything was crazy. But they are testing everyone before you even leave the airport. I stayed 26 days. I never quarantined. I signed ordersnto quarantine to the "area". However I stayed a an air bnb, so I have to get groceries and everything. And I told them I an Def going to the beach!!! They didn't say anything about it. But I heard they were telling people who wete staying on resorts to quarantine to the resort. Idk how true that is, and I been back for 2 weeks now, so I don't know if anything has changed.
I really want to attend interview with him but I’ve been contemplating too because of the whole covid -19. I don’t want to go down and then can’t leave the house and base on the visitjamaica website it says you have to quarantine for 14 days. I can’t stay that long because I have work and I was gonna go for like 5 days. I’m just feeling so stress. So now he’s telling me to just stay here 😭😭😭

Do you still have to wait until at least 10 days before interview to do medical?
