    Don’t stress too much about it.  Worrying won’t change the outcome. I doubt you have anything to worry about. In our interview I got his mother’s last name wrong and he couldn’t remember my middle name.  The IO asked him 3x and he couldn’t remember it.  (He knows it now lol). We got some other minor questions wrong mostly due to cultural differences. We were approved.  Hopefully you will get the approval update soon!

    Thank you!!! It makes me feel so much better.. It's just the not knowing... patience is a virtue (that not all of us have....)

    Congratulations on your approval!!!

  2. Hi everyone,
    I have a quick question, maybe somebody has gone through this as well.

    We had our interview in MN on 08.23.2018 (we applied to the Chicago Lockbox on August 20017 and moved to Tampa on 03.30.2018 - we submitted the change of address, but they didn't process it on time-), we feel it went well, we were asked about our biographical info, his DOB, previous addresses, parents name, and me as well. The IO asked him if he's met my parents, and me if i met his mom. She asked why our families weren't at our wedding (my sister and her family were) and if we got married because my visa was about to expire, i told her no, that it wasn't the reason, my husband interrupted and said that he loved me (i was saying that we have been talking about getting married), and that we had the week between Christmas and New Year's off and my sister was going to be in Jacksonville. She asked me if i loved him and I said "I'm crazy about him"and she smiled and said "good". When she asked me about his DOB, i hesitated for about 5 seconds and got it right (I explained her that in my home country we use a different date format -day/month/year- and I got confused), she smiled and gave him a "she almost forgot your birthday" look...

    Another thing, she kinda gave me a "hard time" about me not legally changing my last name to his.. I told her that i didn't know how to do it at the time we got married, since in my home country it's a bit of a long process and has to be done through an attorney. I did mention that I want to take his last name (although I don't know if it will affect anything since my passport has my maiden name, so if i travel I don't know if that would be an issue)... I didn't know that it was mandatory to take your husband's last name.. is it?
    We (my husband and I) talked about it a while back and he told me that he didn't mind and since I work for a non-profit that does humanitarian work at my home country (hispanic) that it would make more sense to keep my maiden name, at least for now...

    She saw our photo album, we have photos with my sisters, nieces & nephew, his mom and his family. She mentioned that we look so happy, always smiling and "having fun" and that we complemented each other.

    After she was done with us, she said that she was going to review the case, and that we should expect update within 1 or 2 weeks. She didn't take my EAD nor I-94 (which I had provided upon submitting). We had copies of driver's licenses with same address from MN as well as FL, but she didn't need them.  And we updated our address with her to the Florida one.
    She was very nice and "sweet"

    I had my medical exam redone the week before the interview because I knew that it would be expired by then, and she did ask for it.
    Has anybody had that response from their IO, and had the cases updated on the website with "Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC********, was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action."?

    I might be overthinking it, my mom used to say that "no news are good news", but i keep reading that some got the same info and couple hours later their cases were updated to "card being produced" or something like that and it's driving me crazy.
    ...

    TIMELINE:
    08.15.2017 PD
    09.05.2017 Replied to RFE & Biometrics taken
    11.06.2017 EAD received
    07.18.2018 Case updated "Interview has been scheduled"
    08.23.2018 Interview completed and case must be reviewed.

    I know it's barely been a week, but I've read of some that have received the text or email with the "card being produced" almost on the same day or a couple days after...

    EVIDENCE:

    * Joint lease

    * Joint account

    * 2016 & 2017 join tax returns

    * 125 or so photos since the day we met to a week before the interview

    * emails between us (she didn't even look at those)

    * 401K from both of us as each others beneficiaries

    * Life insurance policies with each other as beneficiaries

    * Both of us current employments pay stubs (for the last 8 months)

    I can't remember what else we brought besides of our copies of the submitted forms.

    Thank you guys!
