Thanks everyone, that's what I thought but wanted to check if anyone had direct experience. Does anyone know how long a replacement card takes if the post office don't find it?

Hi everyone, 

So I'm freaking out a little,  my EAD and advanced parole were approved last week and USCIS mailed me the card, I booked flights to visit Ireland with my wife next week expecting the card to arrive based on the tracking number but the post office seem to have lost it, I'm just wondering if I travel with the notice of approval will I be able to get back into the country? I can't find the info online anywhere, can anyone please help?

So I'm freaking out a little, I received an email just before Christmas to schedule my appointment with a specific date and time at the consulate in Dublin Ireland on January 8th and pay the necessary fee. I went to do so today on the link provided and couldn't pay the fee or schedule the interview because there was no appointment available? Just wondering if anyone has encountered this problem before and how they got around it? I'm seriously panicking at the moment, I left it a few days because I was traveling over Christmas and didn't have the necessary documents to hand to complete it and am now worried someone else took my appointment

Thanks p-ana, that's ok to do with my local consulate? Or is it a case where they give you an appointment and you need to show up?

I'm sorry if this was a stupid question, it's just there's so much information out there and a lot of it seems to be buried deep on the official sites.

Hi, so my fiance and I have applied for a K1 visa, we applied at the beginning of the year and are hoping all going well (based off the most recent estimates) that it will be approved in December, shortly before Christmas. I was hoping to visit her for New years from Ireland and was wondering if I could still enter on an esta, the visa waiver program if our K1 visa has been approved. We're not planning on me moving over until late March early April and I tried finding an answer online and on the forum here but have been reading posts for the past hour and a half and haven't found an answer (but found lots of answers to other questions and ones I didn't even know I had). I know this may have been asked before but I would really appreciate any help anyone could offer.
