Got my visa in hand today! 7 days and 4 business days after approval!

We got approved today also!

Approved!!!! Will write a review on my timeline.... 

Good luck to you both and everyone else that is interviewing tomorrow. My fiancé, Shaun, will be there too. May we all be granted what we have been working so long and hard for!😀

I brought a lot of additional things but here is my checklist: 
-unabridged birth certificate 
-2 passport photos 
-police clearance 
-birth certificate of any children (we have a child together) 
2nd pile of paperwork:
i-134 affidavit
-W2 last 3 years 
-employment verification letter
-paystub 
you will need the same thing if you have a joint sponsor 
3rd pile of paperwork 
- proof of relationship
-pictures 
-flight info
-messages 
-letters of support from family 
-thank you letter 

I used a medium size binder clip for each section with a page on top listing out what was in that particular section. I just put everything in one bio plastic folder they ask for original and copy but after the interview they give everything back. 

Hi! Awesome, thank you for all the information! Can you perhaps tell met what binder clips you used? And did you have your documents in a file? Did you give them the original and copies and then they give the originals back to you?

Finally approved!!!! Will update once I’m back in Cape Town. 14 months we are approved 

Just received the tracking number.  Can’t believe how blessed and lucky we are.  Our interview was this past Thursday and now it looks like we will have the visa in hand by Thursday this week.  So exciting to see the end of being apart.

So my fiance had his interview on the 7th and got his Visa in hand today!! So it took 8 working days. Just to give y'all an idea of timeline.

I have my interview in the same day! 

For us, from NOA2 to consulate received was 1 and a half month. Then there’s still a backlog on appointments, ours is 2 and a half months from the day we made it. So the longest wait is over! But there’s still a ways to go! 

Hi All! Our application is finally at the JHB consulate and on ready status!!! Can we register and make an appointment yet or do we have to wait for packet 3?
