I got my EAD (combo) card 2days ago and realise that uscis printed a wrong "country of birth" on my card. I already mailed it back to them with necessary document for correction.

Please is there anyone with the idea of how long its going to take for them to correct it and send me back my card?

Hello everyone,

When i got my ssn it has a Claus "not valid for work unless authorised by dhs"

But i went ahead to register for doordash and worked for like 2weeks and got paid. But a friend of my wife told me to stop the doordash job that it will 

Create a problem to approve my ead.

I have stopped working till my ead is approved.

I will like to know how much trouble im in with the two weeks i worked and what are my options.

Hi everyone,

I filed all my papers aos, ead and ap on the 7th of April and it was delivered on the 8th. I just got noa1 for EAD and AP but nothing for AOS. Is it normal? Cos i thought since i filed all 3 together i should have gotten noa1 fir the three.

Im confused.

NB. The nao1 date was 29th of April.

So we are in the same bought.. I know it's hard not to panic and overthink it... but know u are not alone...we are going through the same emotional roller coaster.

Hello everyone, we sent in our Aos april 3 and it was delivered april 7th and since then till now we've not heard any response from uscis. We sent to Chicago lockbox. Does it take this long to get nao1? And if not what step can i take next. Thank you.

Hello everyone , I tried booking appointment for my interview but the consulate in my country is saying there is no available date for booking at the moment and I heard from people who already got interview dates that they got February so this is where I'm getting scare because my NOA2 approval will expire in January 26 2019 and by the time the embassy will release the appointment dates I don't think I can get a date earlier than January, some people are saying maybe march so what do I do if I don't get interviewed before my NOA2 expires? Thank you

You should do your medicals first then get your police report, pay your visa fee that's when you can fill the DS160 form then schedule your interview and pls start doing all that now before nvc sends your case to the embassy so the process will be faster to get your visa.

i called right at 7 am and total call length was 3:10. 

Press 1 then 2. No need to listen to the gibberish. Make sure u have wac# ur name, beneficiary name and birth date. 

They will only ask for beneficiary info if they have ur nvc number.

I followed the superb advice from @Greenbaum and @Duane & Haney and emailed the NVC my information, requesting that they inform me of any status updates.

 

There’s no way I could deal with the phone thing.
