CSC is finally starting to get their act together. About 16 approvals in the last two days. Let's hope they keep it up

just how does one "intentionally" fart? it's not like burping.
When you know it's coming and instead of holding it you tell people it's coming, spread your cheeks and make a show of it
holding a fart.........bad visual.
My son farts into his hand and throws it at me.
My brother used to do that to me. Gross!!! Now he just comes over and says "Pull my finger." But I'm smarter than that. I know that if I pull, he farts. . . . . .

from adc.......
"......had so many kids, her uterus fell out......"
Is that what happens when your ####### gets too stretched out?

The door is ajar
(I really should charge...)
When is a door not a door? When it's ajar. Ha! Si, man.
Great advice from all -- gratzies... er, gracias. You are each hereby charged $5,000.43 apiece for the
hono(u)r of my having read your responses, si man.
Just put it on my tab . . .

It's snowing here, too. But I didn't shovel

Hey Guys - ladies anyone know cheaper flights to Nigeria Im in Ga.. Willing to fly any direction to get cheaper flight but PARIS NOOOOOOOO done that never again... Also can i purchase my husbands ticke to return so we on same flight?? does any one know how its done
Deltaairlines have very good deals if you buy in advance, and they fly straight from Atlanta to lagos non-stop. No european detours. Goodluck
Yup, I'd definitely go Delta. The non-stop is SOOOO much better than flying through europe. And you should be able to buy a ticket for your husband to return with you. Just call them on the phone. The number for Delta is 1-800-221-1212. I always fly delta and I love it (I used frequent flyer miles to go to Ghana in November).

Congratulations!!! I can't tell you how happy I am to hear this news. I'll pass on the dancing on the street though. It's snowing like crazy here and I'd probably fall right on my butt!!

Congratulations and good luck!!!!!!!

TBone, I agree. Just let things work out from here. Don't worry about the extra time at this point. You've got your foot in the door again. Don't worry right now about her desire to delay coming here. Who knows, once she has the visa, she may want to get here immediately.
There are many people who have anxiety attacks (or whatever you want to call them) about leaving their country. Just work with what you've got. If she gets worried again, just reassure her (women need reassurance, even if it's something you've told them a million times before). I'm glad you had a productive conversation and that things are looking up.

Someone's working faster because VSC approved a November filer and CSC has approved about 16 petitions THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!
-
Congrats!!!!!

I've never heard of it being net income. And I've never heard of anybody here using net income.
Use your GROSS INCOME.

My list says there were 24 approvals for last week.
I'll go for my usual 31 for the next one. Just because I want it to be at least that many!
Oh and mox and a-jeanne should get theirs!
24 is what I have too. (forgot to update my own stats duh.)
It's 26. Bengalilover and Joanne haven't updated their timelines, but were approved.
I'm gonna say 29 for this week. If I win the dead bird, I'll give it to ya Jeraly, as long as I can keep one feather as a prize.

I voted this morning. No line at all. But, there were a lot of old people there
-
I'd never be able to keep them straight. Especially two sets of twins. I'm glad that they want a lot of kids, but OUCH!!! 17 of 'em. That's gotta hurt!!
-
I'm thinking that there are approximately 25-30 September filers (at CSC) with no NOA2 yet. Hopefully you'll all be approved this month!!!!!!!!!

Here's another example for the text of the letter (Utah's employment laws are different and nobody here will say that a position is permanent):
Jane Doe was hired as an employee of Jack Jones Enterprises on October 18, 2002. She works full-time and her annual salary is approximately $60,000.00. Jack Jones Enterprises is an at will employer.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Jack Jones

Yup, that November filer is VSC. Wish I could have filed at VSC
-
Congrats to all those who were approved today!!!!!!!

Well, we sort of have a plan. I'm 31, so multiple babies will have to be accomplished within about 5-6 years. I really don't want to still be poppin' em out when I'm 40 - too many risks for complications.
Sooo, our tentative plan is to get him here (obviously), have one year to ourselves (and to save $$$ for the babies), and then start trying to get pregnant.
We'll see how it works
-
Well done to you all - let's hope this week is an even better one for CSC - that's 71 for 2008.
Queen Jenn - the gods say March 2nd for your NOA2
Oooooo, I like that date. Let's hope you're right.
-
Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh, I am SUPER DUPER happy for you. It's about @#!* time!!!!
-
Hey - bring me some luck, too.
If you're an October filer and get your NOA2 in February, can I have mine in March??
I'll gaze into my crystal ball later Jen!!!
Okay, I'll be waiting
Delta sky miles

I used all of mine to go to Ghana in November. I'm borrowing what little my dad has left to get my fiance here after he gets the visa. I'm sorry I can't help right now.
