thanks for your response, do you think they count from when you first submitted ds-260 and first documents or after the day you submit everything ?

Where did you receive the email, through the CEAC messages or regular email?

Im not an expert but I think it was count when I filled my DS260. I also Im following some latest NVC updates and I have the impression that everything is slower and slower everyday, there is not to many cases generated, also there is not to many cases closed and no interviews yet.

And first I received regular email and a couple of hours later CEAC

How long do it take after you submitted it to be accepted ?

Did you receive document qualified email meaning case complete already?

I filled DS260 01/02, and I uploaded some documents that day, then next day more documents and then 01/09. My case was completed 01/15 and yes the same day I received the email, actually I got the email first and on the page still was submitted until a couple of hours later that changed to accepted.

does anyone know what it means if there is a speech bubble in the column next to the date? I have one in the proof of domicile row but it doesn't say anything.

I dont know but somebody already answered your question.

Wow! Congratulations. My 2018 tax transcript will not be available until June. I won’t have it for NVC or the interview. I will use paystubs and my job letters to show my current income.

I mean, Im going to bring 2015, 2016, 2017 Tax transcript if my interview is before 04/15. just in the case the interview is going to be after that date Im going to have to bring my 2018 1040 and w2s, like you said 2018 Tax transcript are not going to be ready soon

Seems like this change took place in the last 2 weeks where NVC is only accepting tax transcripts. Thank goodness you missed this mess we are going through....Lol Wishing you the best at the Embassy Interview.

I dont have a date yet, but if everything change and if you have in your hand 1040 and w2s you can upload them meanwhile your IRS transcript arrives. You dont have to upload everything at the same time, actually I started uploading on 01/02, then 01/03, 01/09 and my case was closed 01/15 and obviously I got my tax transcript already and my stepson is going to bring it to the interview.

Ayito you have been of a help. Pls which form will my petitioner fill knowing my joint sponsor fill 1-864. I heard they are not taking tax return again expect tax transcript. I don't know what to do. The tax return you submitted it is only 1040 or the whole forms inside the tax return.

I uploaded only 2017 1040 and the w2s supporting, no other forms, however like you said everyone is saying they want tax transcript you can upload 1040 and w2s and ask for a tax transcript and when you have it upload it too. Petitioner and joint sponsor have to fill each one a I-864 if they live in different address.

Yes my 2018 is higher than 2017..even though i Make over the requirements for both years but im from a tough embassy

If you make the enough money in 2017 just upload 2017, if your interview is after 04/15 you have to bring 2018, if its before you can tell them I didnt do it yet, law is the law. Or if you already made the 2018 taxes you have enough time to get the 2018 transcripts

Your Co-sponsor wrote a letter right?

Why will my co-sponsor needs to write a letter? I just upload  for him (you can see it on page 11) remember we dont share last name, we are not related at all and different address.

    Proof of citizenship or LPR

Proof of US domicile (Driver License)

    Form I-864

    2017 Tax Return (Form 1040)

    2017 3 different W2s in different files

We have co-sponsor, but he's my husband cousin. They don't have the same surname as a proof as relationship but I told him to write a letter, do you think they will accept it

My co-sponsor doesnt have the same last name either and he lives in other address and it was accepted. I think its different if the petitioner and co-sponsor share the same address but Im not sure.

Did you and your joint sponsor complete I-864 and you scanned them together? I only see one I-864 category.

You can see the first picture is my husband (petitioner) there is I-864 for him plus 2017 tax return plus his W2 (only 1)

Second picture is the Joint sponsor (live different address) if you need one you have to REQUEST to add one, to request it there is a bottom and you have to upload his/her I864 plus his/her proof of residence or LPR, after a couple of hours and after NVC approved him/her you can upload his/her proof of domicile (driver license) plus 2017 tax return plus every W2, in my case 3 W2=3 different files.

Last picture all my stepson civil documents, I dint translate anything and I upload one document in black and white.

I Wanna make sure I do this right  Did you have a sponsor for your AOS? I

will be using my parents like I said yesterday. So i have them fill out the I864A upload it ,then uploaded their U.S passport and tax returns ? Then do the same for mine ? Is there options to select sponsor , how does it work on the page ? I am currently still waiting for my fees to clear. I made payment on Friday.

In my case my joint sponsor doesnt live in the same address, I dont know which is the form for the joint sponsor that live in the same address. Once you can start uploading documents is going to be a button that said "request to add a joint sponsor" and in that moment you have to upload I864 and proof of citizenship or LPR, after a couple of hours you will receive a message/email from NVC with their answer if they accept or not your request, after that you have to upload proof of domicile (driver license) tax return and W2s or the IRS transcript. Your information you can start uploading immediately.

Thank you so much!!! You have no idea how afraid we were. Since our country is Cuba , we don’t send in the documents electronically. We send them through regular mail. So it takes them up to 3 weeks to review the documents and to close the case. But if there’s something missing they send a checklist and you have to send the documents again and wait another 3 weeks. It’s like an RFE from USCIS.  And that’s no fun when it’s taking 6 months to get an interview from our embassy. Thanks a bunch for your help , we feel better now. ☺️

I can feel your pain, when I got NVC email my heart rate was so high, I couldnt sleep for days and I was so afraid to read their answer and surprisingly all my documents were accepted. Also I know how all related to Cuba works, Im married with a Cuban be patient.

Hi everyone. I have a question. When you send in the documents to nvc , do you need to send tax returns , W2 and the IRS transcripts ? Or is it allowed to send in only the tax returns and W2 ? Please help , we only sent in our tax returns and W2 and are afraid we’re going to get a checklist. 😩

I only sent 2017 tax return (1040A) and Every W2 listed on that return, you have to send the last tax return, it was accepted. Or you can send the 2017 tax transcript. Make sure if you are going to send the tax return to scan it in 1 file, and every W2 separate.
