Received my “Interview Scheduled” notice today for my AOS. August 12th is the date. I wonder if my EAD/AP will arrive before that date lol 😂

Last night I had a dream about all of us started to share that everyone got their EAD
I feel like my AOS is going to happen before my EAD/AP the way my timeline seems to be unfolding 😑

So my AOS status updates today to state that an interview has been scheduled, have to wait for the notice of course to find out when it is, but at least something is moving along.

I did received such an email in the first week of June that they were still reviewing my case and the last action taken on my case was on May 24th. And I got approval for EAD/AP on June 27.
And I received the approval notice on July 1st.
Now I am just waiting for them to mail me the card.
I hope you get approval soon.
Oh that’s positive news, hopefully my approval comes through then by end of July at the latest.

Received two of those automatic emails today stating that they’re still reviewing my case but there’s no update in status. It states they last touched my file on the 21st June, but history online doesn’t show what they did. Any ideas?
Also, has anyone else received this type of email, and if so did your status update soon thereafter or still nothing?

Don’t expect the wait to be short either, when I sent in my AOS/EAP/AP packet in January this year the expected wait time was 4 to 5 months, that’s now blown out to 6 to 8 months.
I’ve already secured a job offer and luckily my prospective employer is happy to wait, but the process is frustrating and you do feel like your life is on hold.
As a lot of people have said on this topic in plenty of posts on the “waiting” just take the time to enjoy each other’s company, do some domestic travel if you can, volunteer, exercise and so on, there’s nothing else to do but be patient and accept that this is all part of the process.

You only get written letter when your interview is scheduled. Because the letter will state the date for your interview.
Thanks, that’s what I thought but I wanted to make sure 😀

Now that my AOS has changed to “ready to schedule an interview” should I expect some written confirmation of that, or only once an interview has actually been scheduled?

Status of my AOS was updated today to ready to schedule an appointment - yay finally some movement. However, still no movement on work permit or AP.
Status updated on the old site but not the new one. Also no email or txt from USCIS to confirm the change in status despite submitting one of those forms that requests it. Le Sigh, why are their systems so weird.

Yep realise that, was just commenting on how my green card may come through before what are really supposed to be temporary measures whilst the AOS is processed
