Guys. Just wanted to update you all of my status.
Removal of conditions and Application for Naturalization were both simultaneously approved today.
Below is a timeline of events
July 3rd, 2017 - filed for ROC (VSC)
July 4th 2018 - filed for Naturalization
January 29th, 2019 - passed interview for Naturalization. The interviewer had both cases. Citizen wife did not attend interview with me.
February 7th, 2019 - both ROC and Naturalization approved
I wish you all the best of luck. For those who still have a pending ROC, I strongly recommend filing for Naturalization.

I just got off from my interview.!!!! I got a pending roc and n400. I do got a letter for n400 but not for the i-751, however they have my application with them at the interview and they made me a combined interview...!
My appointment was at 11:15 but they call me in at 11:30 and it almost last 1hr, she explain me everything and we proceeded to the removal of conditions first, then she ask me if I wanted to add any more evidence to the case and I handed some papers that I bought for her. Later she told me that everything looks fine and said that she will recommend my petition for aproval but she has to do it in another computer later one, then we moved to the n400 aplication asked me 6 out of the 10 questions. And then was informed that I passed the test and and that everything was fine.!
She gave me a paper that i pass the citizenship interview and informed me to expect the oath ceremony no before than march. And that was it so now just wait for the ceremony appointment..!!!
Note mi wife went with me to the interview but she wasn’t call at all.!
I apply for:
i-751 july/16/17 with no biometrics taken or anything from them since then.!
N400 october/21/18 biometrics taken on november/17/18, interview February/1/19
Hi. Thank you for the detailed info. Has the status changed online for either of the cases? Just wondering how long it takes for them to approve it in the system after the interview. My interview was done on Tuesday (3 days ago) similar to yours, and everything is still showing as pending.

Well I guess my journey has ended! I had my N400 interview today and was approved. Next step is to wait for my oath ceremony letter now! So glad it all done! Good luck to everyone!
Was your I-751 already approved prior to the interview? Or did they approve both, the I-751 and N-400 at the same time?

Hi Ben-
Yep - my interview N-400 interview is scheduled for Jan 24 and my I-751 is still pending. We had our interview for that on Sept 24, but not movement/ progress since then...
I have an infopass appointment on Jan 10 to get another stamp extension in my passport (current one runs out on Jan 15) so I'll ask them if they know what's likely to happen !
My N-400 interview is scheduled for Jan 28th.
I filed my I-751 on July 3rd 2017 and it is still pending. No interview or updates for I-751 so far.

Is there anyone who has done their N-400 interview while their I-751 is still pending. Please let us know what to expect on the interview. Are they merging both the cases?

Hi Ben! Did you get a respond from your inquiry ?
I finally heard a response for the inquiry. It says “Recently, you contacted us about the status of your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. You also filed a Form N-400, Application for Naturalization. Our records indicate that your Form I-751 and Form N-400 are currently pending and will be adjudicated at the same time”

Who is a July 2017 Vermont filer with EAC starting as case number still waiting? I hope I am not alone. It's already Dec 1, and my 18 month extension notice will expire in Jan 2019.
Hi. I am a July 3rd, 2017 VSC Filer. The last update that I have is that the case was transferred to my local office on July 18th, 2018. Starting to feel nervous now as it seems most people have gotten their approvals.

I called USCIS customer service today. They told me it could mean an interview or RFE based on what they deem fit. They also mentioned usually very few interviews are conducted. If we are lucky, they'll conduct both naturalization and I-751 interviews together. Not sure what is missing, we even got lawyers and submitted helluva lot documents, if they complain about something missing, it's probably gonna mean they are purposely trying to delay the case further. Don't know what's in store, but hope it goes well.
Thanks for sharing the information. We also submitted a lot of documents along with the case. It should really be a clean review. Not sure why they are delaying it. I really hope it all goes well.

Yes, applied online for naturalization on July 4th, and took my biometrics on July 25th. Still no response on ROC yet.

I got a very strange update. From April 9, they made my date July 30. As in, we received your case on July 30 .... Not sure if they are woking on my case now or is it just a BS update. anyone else had this issue?
I also got a similar update. From April 9th, they made my date to July 18th 2018 for “We received your case”. Have no clue with this means. My initial filing date is July 3rd 2017.

Hi guys,
Has anyone received an email stating " we are still reviewing your case. There are no updates at this time" ?
It also states the last action taken was on July 6, 2018. Not sure if that means anything as if an indication there might be a decision soon or just a useless update generated by the system
Yes, I got the same email and it said, "We last took action on your case on July 6, 2018".
I initially filed my I-751 on July 3rd 2017. And since then, I have received this email like 3 or 4 times. Have no clue what it means though. Still waiting for a decision...

Is it still ok applying for Citizenship while ROC case pending with USCIS ? when will I be the time to apply for citizenship if i filed my ROC case on July 2017 ? Thanks .
You can apply 90 days before your 3 year anniversary as a permanent resident (go by the issue date on your permanent resident card).
And yes, it is ok to apply for citizenship while you ROC is still pending.
My 2yr Green Card was issued on October 2nd, 2015. I am applying for Citizenship next week as I still wait for the decision on my ROC.

Hey guys. I am planning to apply for Naturalization next week as we still wait for the ROC to be approved. During my 3 years as Permanent Resident, I went on an international trip for 2 weeks. Does anyone know if I have to wait additional 2 weeks before I can apply for Naturalization? I thought there was something about continued stay within the United States for 3 years.

When I first went inside, the interviewer told me that he had both of my cases (ROC and N-400). He didn’t ask me any questions regarding my ROC. For the Naturalization, he only asked some basic questions that I had listed on the N-400 application, like name and address etc. Then he asked the 10 questions regarding the US civics test. Then he said that I passed the exam but he cannot approve my case until the ROC is approved. He said he has recommended the ROC for approval and then the N-400 will be approved aswell. 8 days later after the interview, both ROC and N-400 were approved at the same time.
