"If you have not heard from USCIS within 60 days of responding" - what USCIS should actually do in these 60 days?
I've sent a response and it was received 11/18/2019 - heard nothing from USCIS since then. I've called the customer support and surprise, surprise - our case in VSC not in Potomac as I thought. So it can be till October 2020 before it will be considered outside the normal processing times. So should they make a decision within 60 days from receiving the response, or acknowledge receiving the response somehow?

QuoteQuoteIt's been 105 days since they receive our RFE. When I called USCIS I was told to create Service request because of the 60 days rule which I did in a month I received email saying they are working on it and will let me know when they are done. There is nothing we can do except waiting.

It was divorce decree which I sent right away.

It's been more than three months since USCIS received our RFE no NOA2 yet. When I contact USCIS after 60 days I was told to do service request now I am told to wait until they make decision. We are so stressing out. Especially seeing people get approved who applied way after us.

It's been 7 and half months for us since we filled. I asked USCIS and she said I should make official inquiry since I didn't get decision within 60 from the day USCIS receive our REF response. (The officer suppose to make a decision in 60 days after REF). And It's been 10 days since we made a request hopefully we will get our NOA2 soon. It's very frustrating.

@girl1980 you still didn't receive NOA2? We send our application in April 27 at potomac service center got ref on September which we respond right away still waiting for noa2.

Yes. But they don't send me mail only sent automatic email from my online USCIS account. You can call to USCIS customer service and check.

I send my RFE on September 25. And got my update on 8th October. I am still waiting for approval. They usually approved case within 12 day after receiving REF.

thank you I hope it will be soon!

Almost two month ago I was asked to send additional evidence(RFE) and I mailed it back to USCIS Potomac service center right away. After a while I received email from USCIS saying Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It. How long does it take for my case to be approved?
-
I was asked a copy of divorce decree which I provide the next day. It's been 22 days since USCIS received my response to RFE I called USCIS today and found out USCIS is waiting for background check clearance form from Ethiopia (my beneficiary country) . I don't know how long that take. Hopefully they will receive it soon.

I-130 service request for case outside of our normal processing time
in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Posted
I recently open service request for I-130 case outside of our normal processing time. And I received email saying
" Recently, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, to notify us that you believe your case is outside of our normal processing time. Your case is currently under review by an officer. We regret that we are not able to give you a time frame for when we will complete the review of your application."
I AM so frustrated since most of the people who applied with me with the same service center already got interview date. Also in the email they include A-number even if I am US citizen is there a chance USCIS might think I am green card holder? Even if I send them my nationalize certificat? I am just confused. What should I do?
