  2. There is folders with ACCO fasteners on top, I found it at STAPLES, called " STAPLES CLASSIFICATION FOLDERS 2partitions,6fasteners" they also have 1partition, 4 fasteners. its only(!) around $20. 5 folders in a packet.

if you were living around me I would give you one free, I purchased that and used only 2 of it, one for USCIS,one for my own copies.

    still 3 left over.

anyway it looks good and organized, you can either divide your documents to the sections, say banking financials on one part, housing leases on other part, pics mails invitation on different part etc, or you can use only 2 sections, I put my cover letter the first section, and all my documents on other section, and copies of pictures at the back of folder.

I am trying to upload the pics below as attachments ,lets see if it's gonna work, if so check out the pics.

    hey guys,

i am going to file my i-751 first week of Septmeber.

JUst started collecting all the required documents.

    But one question remains though.

WHAT KIND OF FOLDER SHOULD I USE TO FURNISH MY DOCUMENTS

    thanks again

    thanks for the support guys.

    One more question remains though.

HOW DO YOU ATTACH THE PHOTOS/PICTURES ?

ANY LIMIT ON PICS AS I HAVE ALMOST 7500 PICS TAKEN LAST 2 YRS?

    thanks again

  3. Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that on Saturday April 18th, 2009, this is what transpired:

10:30am: Feeling tired, achy, and depressed, I decided to sleep in today. On top of that, I was in an even worse mood, as the computer had just broken down the night before and we were unable to fix it. So my husband D woke me up and thought that maybe I would be happier if I went out today, and so we went out together that morning. Since we were out and drove by the post office, I also wanted to check the mail then, but it was too late, so I just let it go, and we continued on the rest of the day.

11:00-12:00: We went to a local contactor and got some estimates as to how much our new septic/sewer and well water systems would cost for our new land purchase. It wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be. We also looked at some computers locally, but didn’t find one we liked. So we decided to drive further away to Buffalo, NY to search for such.

1:00: We got to Buffalo NY, and stopped by McDonalds to have lunch there. As usual, I got my pregnancy craving food of honey-mustard snack wraps for lunch. Gosh knows how many of those I’ve eaten during this pregnancy, but I admit, I can’t get enough of them! Yum!

1:30-8:30: For the next several hours, we went shopping in that area. We shopped in Babies R Us, Wal-Mart and Target for about 15 or so baby-related items. And yes, we did manage to buy everything else on our list that we hadn’t bought already before. And I’m happy to say that “We’ve got everything except for the Baby!” As well, we bought a new laptop computer at Best Buy, which I am currently using now. I admit, “I feel broke!”, after having spent so much money that day, as overall I don’t like shopping anyways. But at least I don’t regret having spent all that money on items and things that we need. Too bad though I can’t say the same thing for the I-751, which indeed seems like a waste of money and time there!

8:30-10:00: We drive out of Buffalo NY and go to another New York State town. We do a bit more shopping for baby stuff there, and then have dinner at Arby's.

10:00pm: Exhausted, we arrive back at home in the pitch-black of night, with our minivan filled with stuff. Before I unload all the things from the van, I check the mailbox. I find one envelope in there and take it inside the house. On the outside of the envelope I see the following words written in blue lettering: “US Citizenship and Immigration Services”, from the Vermont Service Center (postmarked 04/16/2009). And when I open the envelope, I find this:

    I-797C, Notice of Action

  4. That's great, congratulations. What's DORA?

DORA is a pilot program for applicants seeking PR or AOS from NM, TX, OK states especially under DALLAS, EL PASO, OKLAHOMA district office jursidictions.

District Office Rapid Adjudication, whose objective is to approve the PR status within 90 days or earlier from the time of application.

i don't think if it is still available, as per USCIS it is terminated on 24th September 2007.

  5. hi guys,

yesterday my interview for AOS at Dallas was a breeze, the lady offier was nice, friendly and made us feel very comortable .

we walked in at 6:45 am , after the security check we were callled for the basic review of our file and a tentative 8:00am time was fixed for the interview.

at 8.00 am a lady officer called my name and we followd her into the interview room . She asked all the basic questions about ,my self and the info we filed . then she flipped through the pictures and had asked about our hawaii honeymoon and thas it.

she told us to expect the approval notice within 90 days and not to expect any mails form them unless they need some more info.

The lady officer told me that my finger prints are current , so there may not be a call for biometrics.

all in all its a breeze. until christmas "hang loose"

  6. Well I'm not sure if we messed up by not getting our NOA1 on the day of our interview. We don't know our USCIS case number yet, but if we don't hear something within a couple of weeks, I would probably call USCIS and see if I can find out our case number so I can check the status online. If you do already have your case number (and we did in fact mess up by not getting ours) then check the status online to see what it tells you. I'm planning on calling the bank today to see if there is any way that I can get them to tell me the case number that was imprinted on the cashier's check that we used for payment. I don't know if they'll be able to due to privacy issues, but it's worth a shot.

hi, my DORA INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULED FOR TOMORROW,

could you pls share your exoperience , since we both are in the same page.

    advance thanks

    agnar
