Check for when your case creation date changes and it goes from saying "immigrant visa" to "non-immigrant"...when you see that, know it's coming!!!

I remember those stressful days, just relax and keep checking!!

Thanks .... but my fiance received his visa already.....

Nothing should be done until the Embassy receives the case (Case Status: Ready) and sends Packet 3 to you. Monitor your case, once it says 'Ready', send an email (include your USCIS # and NVC Case #) to the Embassy requesting Packet 3 to be sent to you. First, you will receive an autoresponse, but there will be a specific reply within 1-3 days. Then, go ahead to finish your DS-160 form, pay your visa fee ($265= #95,400) at any GTBank Branch and schedule your Interview. Once you have your Appointment Letter (knowing your Interview date), prepare when to have your Medicals.

Note: The results take 14 days (2 weeks) to be ready for Lagos and few days for Abuja.

    Thanks

You have to email the embassy with your case number and ask them to send you packet 3. dont wait on them, that might cause a delay before they are able to contact you.

    Here is their contact information.

    Phone Number: (234)-1-261-5697 or (234)-1-261-5699
In case no one picks up any of the first set of numbers, try:
    (234)-1-261-0050
    (234) 1 460 3400
    (234)-1-261-2218, (234)-1-261-9856
    ball.gif E-Mail: lagosIV@state.gov for immigrant visas
ball.gif Address: 2, Walter Carrington Crescent
    Victoria Island
    Lagos
    Nigeria
    ball.gif Working Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Thursday. 7:00am-1:00pm Friday
ball.gif Best Contact Method: First--email; autoresponses within an hour then will take 2-3 days to reply
Second-- Visit information booth at the consulate.
Third--Call, however you rarely get through by calling.
    Email or visit is best.

    Thanks 😐

My embassy requires packet 3 to be sent (Spain) so I will unfortunately have to wait for the consulate to mail out the document but from what I've heard for my country, medical isn't too difficult to get in, could be the same day/week

What country are you from, am from Nigeria and I have case and invoice number with me.... do you think we can make the appointments or we should just wait for the email....
