Does this mean DV is denied? Is there anything we can do to appeal - no documents requested at this point. Will this impact future immigrant/non-immigrant visas?  Sept 30 is the last date for VISA issuance for 2023 DV? 

"A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies and that you will be contacted if additional information is needed"

Hello Georgebox, were you able to figure it out why CEAC status is still showing "Invalid Immigrant Visa Case number"? Have you heard from consulate yet?

Unfortunately, they returned the passport in the second interview. The case is is still under process.  A lot of questions was asked, almost intrusive to why she was not married at the age of 36. Visa Officer checked her phone for over 30 minutes. Not sure how someone can prove that a person is single anymore. Any thoughts?

AP is fairly common while the consulate processes a visa application.  The CEAC status will often toggle between AP and Refused (this does not mean denied) before it is either finally issued or denied.  I don't know if the dating thing would cause an issue.  Is her significant other in the US, or in her home country?

Home country. Because she is not married, if this would be a concern. I am a little worried, as the cutoff date for 2023 visa is September 30, and the interview as a few days ago.

Damn, it is taking you a very long time as well. I was frustrated too. The inquiry date right now is Nov 10, sooner or later I am sure you will get a response. I had stopped thinking about it  but there you go, I got approval when I least expected.

I feel like I am the only one left for November filers who has not heard anything from USCIS. Nov 28 PD and Nebraska service center.

Mine is Nov 28. 2017, NSC as well and I  have not heard from USCIS at all. It's frustrating. Please give me any new updates.

Guys, any new updates for November, Nebraska!!

Nov 13, NSC got approved yesterday. Not mine waiting for PD Nov 28. 

I got an email  stating We have taken an action on your case. 

I checked my account, and there is nothing updated for my case. Case at Nebraska.

I had a random case added on my account for  PD November 10. Apparently , it's case is approved and sent to NVC. I believe i got an email for that case lol.  Kinda sad to see it's not my case, but good thing is that it is for Nebraska and November. 
 

I saw one case got approved on May 22. PD Nov 10  for Nebraska.
