In my case, my hubby (fiance then) bought my ticket 2 months prior to my interview (out of excitement ). My interview was Aug. 07 '07 and the purchased ticket was for Oct. 07 flight. He gave it 2 months protraction in case I have had problem with my interview. But thank Heaven that I passed, so he made changes again with my ticket and moved my flight on Sept. 12. We paid 100 dollar more for re-scheduling but it was all worth it.

My check was cashed on the 8th. I am having trouble making out the digits on the back of the check. i typed in my best guesses, but they did not appear to be valid case numbers

I guess, it is the digits found at the back of the cashed check. AKA receipt number that you can use at USCIS website to track what's happening with your petition.

To adjudicate in most shallow definition is to decide. So, methinks, that is the NOA 2. It is the decision on the petition you filed. Passing the interview is another thing. Goodluck!

You can call NVC (a week after your NOA2) to check if they received your petition already. I tried that before even without receiving notice (NOA 2) from USCIS yet. People from NVC are nicer than the people from USCIS. Good luck!

After my interview the guy in window 37 told me to pay for delivery fee and he gave me a paper stating for "documents verification". But i dont know which documents will be verify by the USE. Im just confused coz i dont know if my visa is approve or not. If our documents being verify by the USE, is there a possibility that my visa will be denied? And how long will it take for the verification of the documents? Coz some says 2-3weeks..and some says 3-6weeks..which is which? pls help me! coz as of now it still bothers me...hope some of you can answer and help me clarify this...thanks

As other posters said, each case varies. I know people that's been waiting for 6months and some for only 1week. One good thing to look forward to is that they have you paid the delivery fee. If you were denied, they should've returned your passport. Keep it positive gurl!

I'm planning to fly back to cebu by April for my brother's wedding. I've read somewhere that the immigration officer will unstaple the I-94(departure). What happens when i come back? I haven't sent my AOS yet. I hope someone can help me clear up my mind. I've been looking for some answers and i had no luck.

I saw that you are a K-3 visa holder. Nothing to worry about because only K-1 visa holders who are not allowed to travel outside USA without GC or AP. Congratulations to your bro!

There is no exit fee. The term used is Philippine travel tax. You only need to pay the terminal fee of P750 if you paid P1620 when you picked up the ticket.

You said you only paid P1260 (not P1620) for taxes? That could be for the US taxes and not the fee for travel tax. Better to bring extra P1,620 just in case. You can pay travel tax in US dollars too.

So I've read that the terminal fee costs Php750 and the exit fee costs P1620.

On my E-Ticket, there were two taxes included and that P1260 is one of them. My baby made the reservation in the USA but I paid and got the E-ticket here in PH. Do I still have to pay that exit fee at the airport?

I agree. You might or will be denied re-entry if you leave outside the USA on a K1 visa regardless of the marriage. My siblings also thought about it as a gift to us after the wedding and I told my fiancee about it but being a good researcher that she is she said DONT. Instead , my siblings booked us a houseboat for a cruise at St. John's River in FLorida for a week, knowing I love boats. I think its very unique for a honeymoon and my fiancee I THINK more excited with the honeymoon than the wedding, hahaha. Better tell the in-laws to cancel the cruise. Goodluck!!!

I tried searching online about the houseboat, didnt find one though. Any helpful site would help us get ideas about this cruise in a houseboat? My fiance's parents know that us (Tony and I), are both inlove with body of waters. They would definitely get upset today once my fiance tells them the 'bad' news about the cruise. Giving them alternative suggestion will (I hope) somehow lessen the letdown.

My soon-to-be-in-laws booked us a cruise out of excitement (without our knowledge that they already paid it) to Mexico for our honeymoon as their gift. As what I know, K-1 visa is just a single entry and this is the confusion we, my Tony and I are going through now. The cruise will depart from Florida (where we will get married too) going to Mexico which is not a US teritory. I talked to him about the problems might arise if we will take the risk of taking the cruise.

My fiance grew up and spent half of his life in Florida that is why he doesn't like the idea of staying too long in the said state. Hawaii and Puerto Rico are good alternative choices but if we will take this option (HI or PR), will I be fine travelling holding only my passport with K-1 visa (2 days after our wedding)? I do not want to take any chances.
