I applied for the passport yesterday , I did a mistake on the application by answering the question about employer sayin unemployee I thought the question was about my wife since it is just the box right after asking about her name . I really do not know if this mean they will decline my application for the passport.

It's my big day today.
I'm about to be naturalized, we're lining up now to check if all the information on our certificate are correct.
So excited for this journey to be over. Will apply for passport as well after this.

His account updated this morning to show a status of "We scheduled your Naturalization ceremony." The letter is not showing yet but hopefully in the next day or so we should know the date.
Congrats, I did not receive any update since then, I asked for name change probably this is the reason!

Got my letter today. They are asking for last 5 years tax return and proof that I lived with my wife in 2016
on the side side that I applied on 5 year rule and they are not supposed to ask about marriage, my marriage doesn’t exist anymore and not sure what we are proving now. It lasted 5 years. Life happened. And we are divorced. Still in good terms with my ex. Also I already gave them all 2016 documents and they have them. 🤷♂️
You can probably send them some bills or any mortgage or lease under both names. The reason for asking for them again could that another IO is adjusting your file to give you the final approval.

You're done with the critical part which is the interview and civic test and you got the recommendation for approval, you're one step closer so its a matter of waiting. Be thankful you reach this far compared to others facing problems with their application.
That is true I appreciate your help! You are one of the very good members here I really get a piece of good information from what you posted! Thank you and good luck at your ceremony!

Dude you have to relax, you asks the same questions to a different groups and I believe someone responded to you already about this question. You've been here for quiet so long and I believe you know each field office process each applciation differently, some were faster some were not. So you have to wait, I know its annoying, but your only option is to wait until you are required to follow up. Focus on your group because you will get more vital information if you focus on your field office group.
True I am sorry I bothered so many people but It is just I am nervous! I am sorry again thank you!

Nope!
I did my interview last Thursday 25th The IO handed me a note that I passed and recommended for approval but nothing change still show we scheduled your interview? He mentioned that the local office is busy and having a bunch of cases ahead of mine and the supervisor needs to approve it after his approval? Should I be worry ? or this is just a normal thing?

I don't know if it is too early but you can always call ask them if everything's OK with your file. I was confused with my 2 conflicting notifications (which came first: approval then suddenly review or other way around?). Don't email them from your account - - that thing is hopeless because they'll just respond with a cut and paste generic response.
Don't be like me and wait for more than a month (36 days) before calling them out about the situation. no harm in trying. I asked the person that I talked to if I needed to talk to tier 2 but he said he can access my account. He didn't see any flags and everything was still ok and that I was in line for oath. He said to call back if I didnt get my oath notification/letter 90 days after interview. I got my oath notification 10 days later. if you're not happy with the call, then maybe you can talk to tier 2.
Thank you I will probably give it like one week! The IO mentioned that the office loaded with so many cases I think maybe this is could be a reason! I hope so!

Did you check your uscis.dhs.gov account? this account and the egov account don't usually tell you the same thing. On the dhs account, I got 'You attended your interview' and 'We approved your application.'. On the egov acct, I got 'your applic is under quality review.' i got all 3 notifications the same day so I assumed that the review only took less than a day and then I got formal approval. So check your dhs acct and check if you got a 'we approved' message. My oath letter took a while - - 46 days after interview.
congrats and best wishes!
So far the website said the interview was scheduled! I started to be nervous because it is been now more than one day!

Hi, guys, If anyone got their experience before, I did my interview yesterday and the IO handed me the result saying congrats and recommended me for approval but the final approval after the supervisor review it?

I went for an info pass appointment to the local field office. The officer told me that my case is at the field office and cleared the NBC (National Benefit Center) processing. It is being reviewed and requests for cross checking have been sent. I am not sure what does it means. Does that mean that they will get security clearance again? They told me that they can't tell me how much time it will take. It's so frustrating. Anybody has gone through my situation before? Any idea how much time it will take? Is there anything I can do beside waiting?
Thanks for your help.
Have you ever travelled to some places that known not very safe places? Security check will take longer If you travelled so many within the last three years prior your applying? The fingerprint for the background check will last only for 15 months.

Have you changed your address very often some times It could be just about this? I think you will be fine just let us know what they asked you to send!
