You can apply for an expedited passport that you can get within 24hrs to 7 days depending on when you plan to travel internationally by paying a $60 expedite fee. You must have some proof of travel out of the country within 2 weeks to use this expedite service at a passport agency. A flight or hotel reservation will work just fine in this case. I used the Seattle passport agency for mine since I had to travel to Canada 9 days after oath ceremony. My passport was ready to be picked up in 4 days after application. If you have no travel plans and proof of such travel, you can't use a passport agency though you can still pay your $60 expedite fee and you'll get your passport in about a week to 2 weeks.

EL79, I remember you had your interview few days before me.
Use the infopass card. I went to the infopass session against my lawyer's recommendations, and here I am 1 week later got my application approved.
The one thing, I noticed during the session, when the officer was checking my case, he started shuffling some business cards from his drawer, which gave me the indication that he was looking up my officer. So they actually might send them notes to remind them that someone is following up on their case.
Get an appointment and try it out.
    Best of luck
My online portal is updated. You were right Starkilla09.
Its showing now we have approved your application. I am super thrilled.

I would say go to the infopass. Last time I went there I was able to get the interview for the next day. They just went upstairs and came back with the interview scheduled.
Its not hurt to go, you don’t loose anything and might have useful information

It's been 2 months now and no RFE has been generated yet

It feels so wrong to have to wait 14 months to get an interview and then 2 months, possibly even 4 months of nothing. Just radio silence.

According to them hey have 120 to reply after the interview which is ridicules, I  F***ing guarantee you they would do it in less than a week if it was a bill they are collecting from me.

I pay my f***ing taxes muda sukas

    Hi guys,
So I went to an infopass this morning with the hope to find out when will they schedule my N400 since I passed my i751. They scheduled it for tomorrow and asked if I am ready. I said Hell yeah, so my interview is tomorrow at 12:00pm. Chance for a same day oath ceremony?

    Hello everyone,
I just got back from my interview. I think my experience is good for someone who are filling N400 with their I751 pending.
Quick update: I passed my I751. It was easy. He asked how did we meet? When and where did we get married? When did I move to Korean? When did we move to the US? Why did we move to the US?
We lived in 3 different countries together.
I came prepare with bunch of evidences.
After the I751 interview, I told him that
    - can I have my N400 interview? He said he did not see it on file. I told him well it’s there. I filed it and got deschedule. He told me to go and waited outside for 5 mins. He called us back in and said he could not do my N400 interview even if he wanted too. I was descheduled and the system won’t let him to do it. He said I need to wait for 6 weeks. That is how they schedule now, their slot, whatever that meant.
So I asked. Would it be 6 weeks since I got deschedule or 6 weeks since today. He said he does not know and I will get my green card in the mail in 2-3 weeks.

i left the building with my husband and got a call from him. He said “I told you you will get your green card in 2-3 weeks. It won’t happen. We won’t send you a green card since you have your N400 interview coming up pretty soon. The system won’t let me send it to you. You will however still be updated in our system, your status will change as we approved your I751. You need to wait for your interview. If your extension stamp on your passport expired before you get your interview, please come back and we will stamp it to you.”

so so now I will just need to wait for couple more months I guess. Guys!! They don’t have their shits together.

I understand the angst and nervousness.. but trust me you'll be fine.  Definitely NOT a full suit.. unless you want to.  I went business casual because I thought there was a chance I would take the oath. I would definitely not wear jeans, but I did see people in khaki's.

@AHG If your traffic fines are less than $500 then its not a big deal, but have the proper documentation of either paying the fines or acquittals. Mine were all under $500 for speeding.

SO Pheww, I feel so much better going to an infopass today. I went there and was assisted by one of the interview officers. I guess they short in staffs so took him down to help.

He was so helpful. He told me that it should have never sent to my old address but luckily that I went to an infopass. There is a high chance I will be interviewed for my N400 too. He ran upstairs and talked to the higher officer, I don't know what they told him but he said officially I will be interviewed only for what I assigned for but if I asked I will probably get an interview for both.

He think what happened was, N400 does not have a time slot to for scheduling, they are being scheduled by computer. They scheduled me for I751 and the computer scheduled me for N400 so that's why it was descheduled. He also mentioned that lots of people start filling N400 before they adjust their i751 so many local offices do not adapt quite well with it yet. So, there has been a lot of deschedule happening.

He said the interview should be easy. We will just bring out join bank accounts (checking, saving, credit card), join lease, join car title, join tax return for the last 4 years. Our ticket to probably 50 trips we took together. The pictures that we will arrange by timeline. Our recent trip from Europe and our Golden Retriever pictures.

I will keep you guys updated after I attend the interview. Thank you for calming me down guys. You guys are the best.

That’s USCIS for you! By now it’s officially the worse federal agency in this country. Had it not been you did this info pass your I-751 would’ve been denied for a no show interview jeopardizing your immigration status in its very core. Someone there thought it was a brilliant idea to send your interview notice to your old address on file. Dealing with this agency is like walking on a sword edge, Hypnos was right when he said they’re run by trained chimps. My advice is take your spouse with you to your interview. If a combo interview happens it’s all good it’s easy anyway just basic relationship stuff with your spouse. Good luck!

Yes. There were a lot of people waiting. Writing Test is: The flag is red white and blue. Questions for civic test: 1. Name one us territory. 2. Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? 3.Name one branch of us government. Forget the other 3 questions. I was told that I will probably get my oath letter in two weeks. The scheduled time will be two weeks after the time when letter is sent.
  20. Thanks

I think that is old. I believe @Starkilla09 once posted it’s at 10 am and 2 pm.. which makes sense since my notice says to be there for 8:30.

Infopass is where you could make an appointment at the local office to ask question about your application.

i went to one this morning, they said it could be because of my i751 file is not at the office yet or could be they overbooked. In the system, they said, my i751 is being scheduled so I should get another appointment soon.

Seattle officers in my opinion is incompetent
