My fiancee's interview was on 2/20 and they only asked for her current passport.

The interviewer told her that she was approved and expect the passport to be returned in less than 2 weeks. This morning we got an email that the K1 visa has been issued along with the Canada post tracking number 😁

Yeah only the ones that apply. I wrote "N/A" to the ones that didn't apply to us instead of checking it.

Did your case update on the case tracker for the day P3 was sent out?  I'm impatient and want to game it, but I'm trying to be smart about the day...

Yes, I received two emails from Montreal saying not to send them P3 until I'm advised to do so. What I noticed was every time they sent me an email, the "Case Last Updated" changed to that day. There was one day however that the date changed (for me it was 1/7) and I didn't receive any emails from them, it turns out that was the day they physically sent me P3. What I should've done is re-sent P3 to them that day and I would've probably received P4 with the others.

Yes I booked 2/20, last I checked there were two timeslots available for 2/13, only 1 left for 2/20 and 3 for 2/27

We didn't have to upload any of the documents in the checklist. We only sent: color scanned passport, DS-160 confirmation page and the signed checklist.

Finally received p3 yesterday (physical mail) it was sent out 1/7. We also received p4 (email) yesterday 😁

To everyone who got a Police Certificate in Toronto for K1 visa, is this the right one to get? Requesting online ($20 fee) and picking it up? I read an older 27 page thread on the "new police certificate requirement" here but that just left me more confused. The thread refers to getting a "privacy act" one but I don't see that as an option.

There should be 2 date fields just under the status: "Case Created" and "Case Last Updated", from what I remember these 2 dates only show up when your status changes to "Ready"

It has been really slow, still no P3 for us. I did notice today that my CEAC Case Last Updated date changed to 1/7/2019, but I didn't receive any emails

Just an update, I received yet another email again today from the embassy telling me not to send packet 3 documents til we're advised to do so.

For all of us here who has a case status of "Ready" around Dec 13 and awaiting P3, has anyone received them? We have not received anything yet. I'm tempted to re-send the completed P3... 

Glad that we were not the only ones to send P3 early! Our "Ready" status shows a last update of 12/18, used to be 12/13.

Still no P3 

Montreal received ours Dec 13, the next day CEAC changed to "Ready" so we emailed Packet3, turns out we sent too early. This morning we received this email:

Please be advised that your fiancé (e) visa application is being processed in our office, you will be contacted with information on your next steps to take to continue processing your K-1 Fiancé Visa, as soon as our Visa Unit it ready to process your case.

In the meantime carefully note, do not send your Packet 3 documents till the Visa Unit advises you to do so, and you are not eligible at this time to book an appointment online until you receive further instructions.
