  1. NEVER EVER hire an attorney. They take your hard earned money and dont really do anything extra for you.

If you just read the instructions posted in this website, and interact with VJ members and ask questions when you have any...............you will be completely FINE.

Believe me, do not waste money.....and then you have to rely on them to mail your applications....and the attorney can take time (as they have other cases they are working on)

So, my advice is that you should only hire an attorney If you think your case needs professional help.

    Good Luck!!

  2. I am getting ready to file the 2006 taxes - Married filing jointly....

I have to attach the photocopy of my husband's passport which should be notarized...

Does anyone know if I can only get this notarized from US embassy in delhi or from any Notary Public office?

    I NEED HELP.....

    RIMASH,

I am on the same page. Do you know if the copy of passport has 2 be notairzed at the embassy and not by some lawyer in india.?? pls let me know..thanks man..

yea, the copy has to be attested by the Embassy near (where your Spouse is from).

its such a hassle, cus my husband is in punjab and now he has to go all the way to delhi to get the papers attested. thanks

  4. I think the same..i dont think its the visa NAME.....that results in a denial. I am from india...and i have seen couples that have applied for K1 & K3 and have received visas....

I also know a couple who applied for K3 and visa got denied.......

You know there is no definite answer.........as it really depends on your situation and the CONSULATE at the window...some of them are just in a nice mood and they grant visa to all...........Some are GENUINELY BAD and RUDE and they come up with excuses.

So, i dont think you can play around with statistics to come to an answer...what you should look at is this:

    1. is your visa petition really valid?

    2. do you have ALL documents needed? everything?

    3. ARE YOU TRUE TO YOURSELF & GOD

If all of the above are true............then I guarantee you a visa.

    GOOD LUCK!!

Believe me when I say this,,,,,,,,,please PRAY HARD. HARD HARD HARD HARD..& harder.....

Something is going to happen................................i promise...........

*I will also pray for you tonight...
