Yes, my spouse is in USA now and received a social security card too. Im just not sure of how to get the process started for acquiring the greencard and Im searching the forum to find a step by step guide

Hello my spouse had her interview last month and at the time we did not submit the nadra marriage certificate. We submitted the doc on may 29 at the drop off location in Islamabad along with uploading it to ceac. Do you have any idea if theres anything else that's needed from our end?

My spouse's interview was on May 14th and they CO said everything is okay except she did not have the Nadra Issued marriage certificate. (she took the original Nikkah Nama/English translation)

I uploaded the Nadra issued marriage certificate on May 15th to the CEAC portal but I'm just wondering if that is enough?

Do I need to mail the original certificate to them?

Please advice.

Hello I searched on the forum for the answer but am getting more confused.

I don't know too much about taxes etc but I'm self-employed and have transcripts for the past 2 years. My income is from private contracts and 1099s (not W2).

My question is, am I eligible to fill out the i-864ez form or do I have to use i-864?

We paid IV Fee and the AOS fee on Jan 29 and they were withdrawn from our bank account on Jan 30. However, the CEAC portal is not updated and I've called NVC twice and they said that they'll alert a supervisor.

I received an email today with the case number. I called on Thursday and there was no update.

Nvc received 12/4

Case number received 1/28

Can somebody plz post the complete list of docs we need to send in the IV package

Hello, our application was approved on Nov 16.

Noa 1 - April 16 at TSC

Noa 2 - Nov 16

I got a text message saying the case is updated so I logged on the the site and it said approved. The update was on the old site not the new site.

When I did the I-130 application back in Feb. 2018 I wasn't working.  I got a job early June 2018 and in late June I sent in a letter with proof updating my employment history. I did not received any notification from USCIS about receiving the letter.

I made a service request to find out if they have received the letter.  Service request was completed on July 30th.  I received a letter saying " We gave recieved your service request and researched the status of you case.  We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay n processing time.  Your case is currently processing and is in line for adjudication."

 

On August 15th I received an email notification say that " We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time..."

I have a question related to the subject. You mean you sent in additional documents after you submitted i130? 

I read the entire VJ wiki on the NVC stage and it mentions to file MFS. In my opinion, after reading numerous posts mfs, mfj, or hoh are all fine depending on situation. If you say mfj you have to get the ITIN which can take several weeks.

Hello, I married my spouse in September 2017 and have not yet filed for my 2017 taxes. I want to know if I need to report taxes as married or married but living separate? I’m not sure what the fields are but I read online that it’s a must to file as married but my accountant said that if she is not in USA (doesn’t have a social security) then I should file as single.

Can anyone plz clear up to confusion for me? Thank you in advance
