Congratulations! This is great news!
Naturalization in US English though 😃
😁 😁 I’m originally from the U.K. , that’s how we spell naturalisation. I’m not changing to American English 😂😂. I’m a dual citizen now 😍. I get best of both worlds.

Oath ceremony -January 3rd 2023
Dear all
I just wanted to take the time to thank each and everyone of you for all your help during this long journey.
I finally became a US citizen on January 3rd, at 2 pm in Seattle Washington.
The process was very smooth and quick check in to turn in your green card and oath notice invitation questionnaire page
It took about five minutes to say that oath, and that was it !!
I got my naturalisation certificate shortly after.
I spent about 20 mins in totals from entry to exit of the building.Next step is to apply for a passport.
I just want to courage anyone that’s waiting not to lose hope, yes it’s a slow process , but it works. The end is near, just keep waiting patiently.
I also think filing N400 concurrently worked for me as I never had an I 751 interview. I hope this helps anyone who has doubts about it.
Happy New Year to everybody , God love bless , and best of luck ❤️❤️

Thanks, all the best in your journey as well.
when I called and the robot asked “how can I help you”, I just said missed biometrics, so the call automatically got routed to speak with a representative. That’s how I got to speak with someone.
Thank you so much ☺️

Update: I received an email today, Dec 13th, stating that the new biometrics appointment letter was mailed on Dec 10th. Still waiting for the letter to arrive in the mail.
I called USCIS and they told me the appointment is scheduled for Dec 30th. 😊Yayyy 🎉🎉.
all the best with it.
also I’m trying to call uscis to check my oath ceremony date. All I get is a robot. How do I get a human ? 😂😩

Yep scheduling oath ceremony means the I-751 is now irrelevant. Some people get an update on the I-751 but it's not unusual for it to not change since the N-400 approval takes precedence. Congrats!
Thank you 🙏🏾 ❤️❤️

I think you should be all good! My understanding is that the N400 wouldn't get approved if they hadn't finished processing the I-751. So I think you should be all good! Congratulations!
Thank you so much! ❤️
Yes that makes sense re the I751, and maybe I won’t even get told they have finished processing it, but at this point that’s ok !

Hello all,
Question for applicants in Houston, TX.
Has anyone who was initially scheduled for an I-751 biometric appointment at the Houston ASC office (on Highway 6 South, Sugarland TX ) had to reschedule their appointment?
Missed the first biometric appointment and tried to walk in but they didn’t allow, so called USCIS on 11/25/2022 to reschedule.
Received an email from USCIS on 12/5/2022 that request has been placed in rescheduling queue.
I’m curious how long the wait is to get a new appointment date?
What was the timeline from when they placed you back in the rescheduling queue to when you received the appointment letter in the mail to the new appointment date?
Thank you.
Timeline:
Receipt number: SRC**********
Priority date: 11/26/2021
Transferred to NBC: 2/17/2022
Biometrics appointment: 11/22/2022 (Missed the appointment)… waiting to be rescheduled.
I’m not in TX, but I too missed my biometrics in Sept last year for my I-751.
My office is Seattle WA.
I called them up , and was told I would get an email with a new appointment .
I got it 2-3 weeks later , about October. , and my appointment was for November.
So I had my new biometrics appointment roughly 2 months after my original missed appointment.
I was notified of my new appointment about 3 weeks before hand.
I hope that’s helps.

My n400 interview was in sept this year and they said they could not make a decision at that time 😩 but I did pass my civics and English and it was noted on my form.
Today I got a notice that my Oath ceremony has been booked and ceremony notice has sent in the mail.
I heard absolutely nothing in between and nothing on the I-751 filed over a year ago.
So guys , does this mean n400 has been approved and I don’t need to worry about I- 751 process?
Please let me know if anyone you has any experience of this - Seattle office.
thanks
I got another email saying my N400 has been recommended for approval
and
another email saying N400been approved!!
Still Absolutely NOTHING on I-751 filed in January 2021.
The letter says to turn in my (expired) green card at the oath ceremony - as I will get my naturalisation certificate on that day.
So I guess the gamble of filing the N400 concurrently with the I-751 paid off as N400 approval trumps the I-751 ?

Yes, I-751 needs to be approved first. You may get a combo interview, but it's not guaranteed. You may pass N-400 but still be waiting for I-751 approval
This is exactly what happened.
I passed the civics and all for naturalisation, and signed about I understand the oath and what I will pledge should I take it, but he said decision cannot be made as I-751 is still pending , and he cannot see the file, he can only see the N400 which he was happy with.
so I did not get a “combo” interview, only n400.
.so the wait continues

How long does is typically take to recieve passports back after interview? It says to allow 7-10 working days the embassy website but I've heard anecdotally it's more like 3-5. How long did you all leave it to book flights?
Hi!
I had my interview in London in March 2019.
It took about 5 days to get notice that my passport was ready.
I actually went to pick my passport up, somewhere in the city, I can’t remember the address, but I walked from City Thames link rail station.
I flew out in April 2019, as I was finishing up at work.I hope this helps!

Hey guys
I am still showing as of November 2021, I-751 ready to be scheduled for interview (after my biometric appointment).
I have now got a notice to interview next MONTH for my N400 , but still nothing on I-751.
So will it be a combo interview?
I though they have to approve the I- 751 before they look at N400? -
Hello everyone ,
Can I please get some of your insight ?
I lost access to my online n400 account , so I had to use the online case tracker , and
so I have no access to any documents loaded online. 😭
Just seen on the case tracker that’s I’ve been scheduled for interview as of today August 3rd. That’s all it shows.( No documents like the online n400 account I had )
->How long does it take for the notice to come in the mail?-> How far out do they schedule the interview?
I filled N400 on 16th Feb 2022 under 3 year rule
AND
I have an I -751 filled Jan 2021, and ready to be scheduled interview since November 2021 , but nothing more on that.
I am at the seattle office.
->Is this going to be a combo interview then??
I appreciate any insight, and you are appreciated! 😘

Hey everyone
So I woke up to an email from USCIS , saying we have taken action on your case please sign in…..
So I signed in , and NOTHING HAS CHANGED
* N400 is exactly the same as it was on March 19th 2022
No new documents in the document section.
* I-175 is exactly the same as it was on November 24th 2021is it a glitch email? Or am I missing something?
Anyone had the same experience?

Also, have I-175 pending. Bio wasn't reused; attended the 2nd Bio, no big deal as far I was concerned.

I-751 status as of today (4/4/22): Inline for interview
N400 sent: 02/25/2022
Bio completed: 03/31/2022
N400 status as of today (4/4/22) - Actively being reviewed.
Hopefully, I get combo interview when the time comes @ Newark.
The waiting game continues.....
Well done!
As this point most likely they need nothing more from you.
mine is pretty much the same.
i-175 10th Feb 21
bio 22nd Nov 21
status as of 24th Nov 21 - ready to schedule interview
n400 16th Feb 22

I filed mine on march 7th and I only receive the NOA1 today. No Bio yet…i am already stressed out with this process..
Ah , Maybe you won’t need it.
Some people got to reuse biometrics from previous ones. So all they need is the interview appointment. That may be you!
Yes I know it’s stressful , but N400 is the very last stage of the entire immigration process. After this , no more ! Hang in there!! ❤️

Not at the oath ceremony.
At the ceremony you will get your certificate of naturalisation - check that all the information on that is correct.
The certificate is what you would take to the passport agency to apply for your passport.
It will not be done for you at the at thr ceremony. This is something you do yourself after you have received your certificate of naturalisation.
Also, don’t forget to take this certificate to the Social Security office to update your status from alien to citizen.
I applied for my passport at the Seattle passport agency in January. I did the two week emergency travel as I had to travel quickly , it was ready in time. so I’m not sure how long it would take if you’re not doing the two week emergency travel.
I had to call thr passport agency to get an appointment. I was not able to do it online
I hope this helps ❤️.
