You cannot schedule in Germany until you get the email from them to schedule. You have to wait until you get the P3 in the mail (not sure if you did yet), send back all the info, then wait for them to email you P4. For us it took two weeks after we sent back the P3 until my fiancé got the email to schedule the interview. He had paid a month before that (before he even got the P3...that took a few weeks too after the consulate received the application).

Thank you for the response, since Xmas break is in the way, we are guessing it will be 3 weeks before we get the package 4 email.  Once you did, how far out were the dates to schedule the appointment?

    Read through the information below.

Information to prepare for the interview
    http://www.ustraveldocs.com/de/index.html?firstTime=No
    Information from the embassy website
    https://de.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/
    P3 letter

    Additional information

NOTE: The I-134 requires a "wet" signature. This has been verified just last month from someone who completed her interview and she inquired as to the requirement and that is what she was told. She was already prepared with the proper signature so it was not an issue.

Would you recommend a cover letter when submitting the documents in the mail?

  3. Ok one more question.  Once we paid the fee we were greeted with the ability to make the appointment.

We clicked on Schedule your appointment it and it didn't show us available dates, it just said it will be reviewed.

Does this mean I can schedule, or should I wait for them to acknowledge they received my package 3 documents (affidavit, ect.)

Should we have waited to mail all the documents prior to clicking this?

Lots of people are worried about this; you see posts about it here every few days. No one should be worried about it. OMB expiration dates are for internal government purposes only. The USCIS forms page says what edition dates are accepted. There's not a newer edition of the I-134 available, so you can keep using this one. When a new version of the form does become available, they'll say how long they'll continue to accept the old form.

    Thank you for the reply

Congrats!! I'm from Germany too, with very similar NOA1 and NOA2 dates (NOA1 March 26th and NOA2 Nov 5th are ours) but unfortunately we are still "at nvc", even though we got our case number almost 2 weeks ago now. I was just wondering how long it took you from when NVC sent your case to Frankfurt until you received P3 and how long it took you then to get the appointment in Frankfurt? Might help me estimate my timeline :) Thanks for any info!!

I have the same question, we are also filing in Germany and got our case number December 6 yet we are still waiting for the package 3 to arrive.

What is confusing to me is is that it says “ready” even though we haven’t received the P3 yet but would like to make an appointment ASAP in Frankfurt.

  6. Need help with what to do next

    1) RFE approval was OCTOBER 29th

    2) NOVEMBER 27 the NATIONAL VISA CENTER sent an email letting us know where our file will go to

    3) DECEMBER 6th I checked

https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx And it shows “ready” as illustrated in the picture.

anyone know how much longer we have to wait to make the interview? Or how long  next steps will take?

Hey this is an easy fix, wet signature is not required anymore. So u can tell your fiance redact an statement intent to marry( here in visa Journey there is available in guides section, samples),  signed and dated and send u an scan copy of the original one! you just have to send what they are requesting.

Also here there is an template:

    https://www.visatutor.com/i-129f-cover-letter-sample/

Good luck and not be discourage! An RFE is actually  a good new!!!

Looks like it was an easy fix.  So is this the finish line?

  9. Need advice for RFE .

    Hello everyone,

We filed in April and just received an RFE requesting intent to Marry from my fiancé in Europe. For those of you who got approved, can you please share what you submitted?

In the guide it suggest orginal statements from both parties, does that mean it requires a wet signature on her letter of intent?

Im really confused because on some other forums it said nothing was needed from my fiancé yet I got this RFE.

Did you guys submit more evidence on location of wedding including guest list and reception receipts?

    any advise will help,

    thank you in advance

    Hi guys,

So we received an SMS on March 26th to confirm USCIS received our I-129F, however, we didn't receive a NOA1 in the mail. My fiancé called USCIS a few weeks later and they said the SMS is the NOA1. Has anyone else had a similar experience with the NOA1? Thanks!

There is also a way to check online. Also please check any address you can think of that you would have used

Hey everyone, I'm a little late to the party, but March filer here. March 29th notice date on my NOA1.

Starting the waiting game now... I'll consider an update by September a victory.

    Good luck everyone!

What do you guys consider the “NOA1 notice date”?

    Is that the text,

    email or I-797c in hand?
