Ok got it. Hopefully we will hear something soon on the EAD - will be three weeks since submitting evidence this coming Friday. 

I submitted evidence to expedite my EAD 05/31/2019 based on pending job offer. Had our local congressman follow up on our case who then received acknowledgment from USCIS on 06/14/2019 who advised it would be routed for expediting consideration (they could not provide time frames due to high volume of cases). Today I received a notification that our I-485 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. Not sure if the EAD expedite had anything to do with this? Still awaiting outcome of the expedite request. Any similar experiences out there? 

Summer holidays is also having an impact with fewer staff processing cases I’m sure

Wow...it is absolutely insane!!  These people should be gravely ashamed of themselves!!

 

6.5-8.5 months, current PD date has dropped dramatically back to September 16, 2018!!!

 

This disgusting disgrace must end!

I wonder how much this will affect us having been in the system for some time now vs. new applications? For new applications I get the revised timeline but surely ours are further down the line and wouldn’t be subject to these longer waiting times? 

I’m curious - on the point of people not disclosing or being honest about expediting, how much of an influence would this have on timelines based on the high volume of cases in the system/on this forum?  We saw K1 cases expedited back at that stage which didn’t appear to warp timelines much. Could these VJ timelines be more accurate than what we think?

@K1VisaFiler I received a notification email 18/09 advising our case number and that the petition was being forwarded to my Consulate in South Africa. I’ve seen a few posts advising the next batch to leave NVC is around 2-3 October. Good luck!

Super happy to receive an email last night advising our NVC case number had been assigned and that out petition had been forwarded to the US Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa (18/09). What are the next steps regarding booking medical/interview dates and paying fees etc? Thanks guys 👍

My NOA2 date is Aug 22 and I just called NVC and they say it still hasn't arrived in NVC yet.

This is just so frustrating! 

Same NOA2 as you and still no feedback from NVC. We did get an email notification from USCIS 14/09 advising that recent processing action had taken place on our case - perhaps that’s when it was sent to NVC? Not sure how long it’s going to take from here. 

Besides from calling, is there any way to check NVC status online? Our NOA2 was 22 Aug and was wondering where we are at currently. 

Hi all - received our NOA2 on 22nd August 2018. Any insights on how long it will take NVC to advise the case number? I’ve heard it can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks. Furthermore, once we have the case number can we proceed to book medical/Consulate interview or do we require a hard copy? Many thanks

Hi all, posting from the February 2018 forum. I dont see many (if any) posts or updates about December 2017 approvals. Any idea how USCIS is progressing and when they are likely to start on January 2018 approvals?
