    You do need your parents to fill out the I-134 and you also, then send it to your fiance in Peru to bring with her to the interview, notarized.

    Also I was one of those who the did request my last 2 years of taxes before they would grant the visa. So i would suggest sending that.

    Also go into the tab that says Guides and then click on the K1 visa

    and it tells what you need after the NOA2

    also go into the the embassy section on peru

    and read what you need

    that is what i did, and it worked for me

    thanks :thumbs: Now I have another question. I am a student, I have no income, but I do have some assets. I file my taxes with my parents, and I am clearly listed as their dependant on the tax returns. My mom just had her tax attorney send her her returns for the last 3 years, but he emailed them to her. Would I be better off printing from the IRS page, or are these copies going to suffice? Also, they need to be notarized? Can you notarize a copy? SOOOO lost... :help:

    i just sent copies and it worked out fine for me

    my tax returns and tax papers were not notarized, just sent through email to my love

    si yo no lo supe que no empezo en el foro latino. pues ni modo!!! ya no voy a hablar en ingles un dia mas. y peor vivo aqui en wisconsin. pero no me importa, cuando alguien me habla, solo respondo en espanol, en la calle hasta mi trabajo, no me importa!! y no entiendo niguna palabra ni mierda en espanol. es puro milagro que estoy escribiendo esto. supongo que es porque estoy bravo y todas los pinches episodes de dora the explorer por fin se vale algo.

    i did not know this did not start in the latino forum. well to me it is not important. from now on i am going to speak in spanish only. and worse yet i live in wisconsin where noone speaks spanish. when someone talks to me i am going to speak and respond in only spanish, from the street straight to my job. it doesnt matter!! and worse yet, i dont understand one damn word of spanish. it is a miracle i wrote that in spanish, unreal!!! i suppose it is all the damn episodes i watched with my sister of dora the explorer and just how mad i am. my fingers just took over. i have no idea what that says up there, at all. but i am pissed, i am never speaking in english again.

    unless IRIESOON has a question for me, cause I"M FEELING IRIE, GOT TO LIVE UP I SAY, TO MAKE IT IRIEEEEE!!!

    I DONT REMEMBER ALL OF HAND NOW

    I-134 Question for Interview (K-1)

    A couple of important points:

    - It's current, sustainable, income that is most important. Expressed on an annualized basis.

    - Income history is often an indication of sustainability, but sometimes (as in your case) not.

    - Future income is not a certainty. You may like your odds for getting a future job, the government wants more certainty in the form of a job in hand.

    - Income (or assets that can be readily turned into cash) is what is under consideration, expenses are not under consideration.

    - I-134 is not the document for demonstrating financial ability to sponsor, it is a document for demonstrating financial ability to sponsor - one of many documents that can be submitted. Submit whatever is necessary and appropriate to accurately depict the proposed sponsor's financial situation.

    From the information that you have presented in your post it appears that you are not going to be your fiancee's sponsor for her visa - you do not have the means. Your parents may be suitable sponsors.

    So then should I consider not filling out an I-134 at all for myself? I was under the impression that the I-134 was required on a list of papers to bring in packet 3 for the interview. My other question still is for my parents, since they are married, how do they go about filling out at I-134 jointly? Fill in both names on each blank? They share bank accounts, but they each have a separate substantial income. My dad's alone is probably enough, but I think that having my mom's present would also be helpful since their relation to my fiance is more distant than mine. I read in the pinned post that the relation of the sponsor is important as well as their financial ability. Is future father/mother in law a good relation?

    Well i would follow what Yodrak says in his reply, he knows his stuff. Follow that advice and you wont go wrong! The I-134 is required, as far as I know, on the list of papers to send in for the interview. But since YOU can't sponsor, then you still fill it out but put your SPONSORS on the I-134. If your dads income is enuff (check the requirements to know) Then just put him down. The government is not going to care if you have a back up plan or how nice you are or how much you want this or anything. All they want is for you to have *1* sponsor that meets the requirements. That is all you need. And of course a father in law is of course a suitable relationship. hahaha of course

    take it easy a little my man, you may be thinking about this too much. Just do what it says. Make SURE you do that, and if you do that, give ALL that is asks for, you will be fine.

    ok, from what i gather, and maybe carla-justin will come here and tell me how it is, but i am willing to take that risk to help you

    but i think, from what i have read, as i did not use a cosponsor and so do not know first hand, that it doesnt matter what you will make, what you can make, what others from your program make, how much food costs, and all that. the thing that matters is how much you make now. so, again i am just trying to let you know what i think from browsing here. but that you dont fill anything out for the I-134, that if you cant provide sponsorship, you dont matter, in their eyes of course. I think that you should remove your name and only put that of your parents(co-sponsor)

    i really dont think you have to attach a letter telling them why you dont make enuff now, how you will make enuff, where the money will come from, how you will work overtime(no sleep for 3 months) if you need to for your baby. Just get your cosponsors who do make enuff and that will be suffiecient.

    AS YOU ALREADY KNOW WE WENT THROUGH THE LIMA EMBASSY

    IT TOOK REALLY ONLY ABOUT 6 WEEKS FOR US TO RECIEVE THE PACKET AND HAVE THE INTERVIEW

    SO IF YOU ARE NOT LEAVING FOR A BIT

    AND GOING TO BE THERE FOR 6 WEEKS

    I THINK IT MIGHT HAPPEN WHERE YOU WILL BE THERE FOR THE INTERVIEW

    I ALSO CALLED THE NVC, THEN THE PERU EMBASSY UNTIL I FOUND THE DATE OF THE INTERVIEW

    I KEPT ON TOP OF IT. HAHAH MORE OR LESS

    BUT I WOULD KEEP CALLING TO MAKE SURE IT HAPPENS

    AND I SUPPOSE THAT IT WOULD NEVER HURT TO TALK NICE AND SAY PLEASE TO TRY TO GET THE INTERVIEW TIME FOR WHEN YOU ARE THERE, CALL DURING THE IMMIGRANT VISA HOURS!!

    this wasnt my question, all i was trying to do was help out, so it would be better if i did not have to read some crabby ### trying to bring me down, why you just didnt write what you said in your 2nd post the first time, who knows? just to be a crabby #######, maybe, i hope not. but i am through this process and just trying to help out, so I guess I DID UNDERSTAND how it works, and really would rather you crabby people quiet out for a bit or just try to help if you need to be loud.

    Maybe the guides are NOT CLEAR FOR YOU and you havent got how Visa Journey works. I went to the GUIDES and found the information above, which I am completely sure it was there yesterday and the day befor yesterday and 1 month ago, etc...
