  1. in the packet 3-4 from the lima consulate, i havent seen anything about biometrics.. when we got the police certificate, they took his fingerprints and dental records etc but they dont give those to you. are we going to have to get biometrics done before the interview, when and where?

we have 10 days until our interview and i am getting nervous about the details..

K1s have a medical exam before the interview. Biometrics are for AOS in the US.

p.s. they took DENTAL records? Very strange.

    YES

WE JUST HAD TO DO THE MEDICAL EXAM

THE BIOMETRICS IS FOR THE USA

    AS I UNDERSTAND

  2. Gupt, haaha I am assuming your greed thing is a joke, i hope! If not, I was not making fun of you, just your greed thing, hahah

WHO??? hahaha He is Bob Marley, from Jamaica, The biggest Superstar out of a Third World Country ever!!

But I am sure there are a lot of people who do not know who he is. If you have ever seen a Jamaica tourist board commercial, the "Come to Jamaica and feel alrite" that is a Bob Marley song that they remade the lyrics to.

And when you think of music you dont think of Mr. Music, how not??? what????? haahahah

    noo noo

BUT, that was not my question, can you think of anyone more influencial or more popular(a singer) in the world than Bob Marley?

I got a great response with Michael Jackson, and I think I myself am also switchig my vote Michael Jackson.

  3. Actually now that you say Michael Jackson, I would have to agree with you, I think he is more large on a world wide scale than Bob Marley, good point.

Gupt, are you seeing things? I hope you are not drunk with greed and therefore seeing things, greed can make you hallucinate. :)

But fair enuff, I am switching my vote to Michael Jackson now.

  4. does anyone know if the lima consulate needs to have documents translated by a certified translator for the visa interview at the consulate? do i have to have the birth certificate translated?

get a REAL TRANSLATOR for the interview? not too far from the reniec in lima...i think outside the ministerio de exteriores, there are people offering to translate your birth certificate. ONLY the birth certificate has to be translate but it has to be translated PROFESSIONALLY...not by a friend...but like NOTARIZED by the PROFESSIONAL that translated it...it takes about a week

THANKS, I WAS GOING TO GO HOME AND CHECK MY DOCUMENTS, AND TALK TO MY FIANCE TO SEE, AS I AM AT WORK NOW, HENCE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS, SORRY HOMESICK AMERICAN, NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE, JUST TRYING TO BE HELPFUL

BUT NOW YOU SAY IT HAS TO BE OFFICIALLY TRANSLATED, I THINK I DO REMEMBER THAT, BUT I WILL STILL GO HOME AND CHECK WITH HER

    GOOD LUCK

She told me that for the interview she did not have to get it translated, for the submittal of the I-129F packet, I did translate it, and just used my spanish teacher friend and had her sign that form that she is equipped to translate, all the my fiance had to do was get her birth certificate notarized for the interview, not translated. There just notarized, here I had to translate for the US

  6. THAT MR. MUSIC, THE KING OF REGGAE, THE HONORABLE BOB MARLEY, IF THAT MAN YOU WOULD CONSIDER TO BE. Sorry for all caps, I was already yelled at by HOMESICK AMERICAN, or something like that, for it being rude. Sorry. But I thought about it. And maybe the Beatles too, but I really am not sure. I was thinking, in all the world, USA, Central America, South America, Africa, Europe, Asia, Middle East(i think, not sure about that one) and Australia, That everywhere, they all love Mr. Music, BOB MARLEY. So I am wondering as a World SuperStar, do you think Bob Marley is the most popular singer?

  7. what i did was just have a spanish teacher friend of mine state "I Sally..... am competent and certified... to translate spanish to english" then sign it, put her address and how she is certified

then sign and initial all of the documents I translated and she just approved by putting her intitials and signature. i did that for the birth certificate too for lima

    and it worked out

  8. I am just curious as now my beautiful baby has arrived, if we get married now, and submit our paperwork to apply for AOS, when can I still pay the $395 and not the $1095, if I can still make the deadline I would like to for sure. I was reading all these posts on this a few weeks ago and was having trouble sorting out when I would have to start paying more for the AOS for the K-1 visa.

We have not yet married or applied for SS# as she got here 3 days ago. Also I read that you have to wait 2 weeks to get a SS# or to apply for one, is this the correct # of weeks to wait?

    Thanks all

p.s. I did post this same thing in the K-1 visa, but as a reply to someone asking about the fee increases, and thought, maybe I should make it a post

and Julezabelle, I like you and Jazzabelle, but i am not either of you :P
