Yes we’ve met in person. I’ve been down there twice spent a total of 3 weeks there. I started the form online, but I couldn’t get past his physical address because I was unsure if I should put him under Haiti where his passport was issued or under DR where he has been living for several years.
You need to be sure that he has the cedula ( domican id) Haitians can live in the DR for years on visa but that doesn't mean you legal.

Maybe getting your local congressman involved will help find out exactly what is going on.
I’ll do that then but it’s gonna be after the baby my due date is approaching i think i am gonna step back from this for a while and focus on welcoming my baby i am just sad that my husband is not gonna be there for the big day.If nothing change after that soo i’ll take it from there and thank you. Good luck with your case

Sometimes they call in the Petitioner to do an interview in the States prior to the I-130 being approved and being sent to NVC. I would call your local office.
There’s no way to contact them via phone but 2 months ago i had an appointment with them and it was useless

Sounds like you will be doing an interview here in the states prior to your I-130 approval. This sometimes happens. Any previous interactions with immigration?
I didn’t know that petitioner do interview too.
No interactions particularly just regular calls for status update. Case have been to the local office since january (220 days). It is so confusing to me

PD: Nov 8
So i submitted in inquiry and received a mail saying that my case is at my local office pending for interview. The beneficiary is not even in the states. What should i do? Any idea plz?

Can you explain more on what you are referring to please. Do you mean Nebraska has gone back to processing I130 Applications starting with a Priority date of Nov 4th ? If that’s the case, I wonder how many have to still be processed. I know I can look at the timelines here on Visa Journey but maybe there is more of a backlog for Nov/2017 filers. That seems kind of weird and there is no real order on how the applications are processed. Makes you wonder how they choose which ones to process first.
Did you call USCIS and get this info ? My timeline is:
Noa 1: Nov 17/2017 - Nebraska
I130 RFE: June 1st
I130 RFE sent back to USCIS - June 29th
USCIS acknowledged received July 10th, still waiting.......for Noa 2 approval. 🙁
Processing time was suppose to be nov 10th today but it went back to nov 4th. And yes i called yesterday it was useless
-
Did you guys realise that Nebraska went back to nov 4th??

222 days and dead silence. PD Nov 29. Frustrating. Any other Nov filers here who have heard nothing? Tryingto stay positive. At least the website was updated to Oct 17 and saying 7-9 months. So, we are still in normal processing time according to that info.
PD nov 8th
you are not alone
