My wife received her passport returned in 2 days and yesterday my wife and I entered the US, everything went wonderful, the immigration officer took the envelope and asked us some questions (which I don't remember anymore) lol took a picture to my wife and her fingerprints of the right hand, and just he said, Welcome to the USA!!

 

It's great to know that all this is over, that I can live quietly knowing that I have my wife by my side and that this whole process tackled with so many feelings is just a memory!

Waited for two hours!
Called to window, requested documents (only i-485 and taxes; criminal certificate and medical sealed envelope.
Asked questions like:
Was your wife born here in Ecuador? 
Do you have children together?
When youvisited the US on a tourist visa, did you stay longer than 6 months?
The officer pulled out the original I-130 packet with all the pictures/relationship evidence and said, “wow you have a book!” my husband sband replied “my wife is very detailed oriented” haha
And he was approved!!!

Then she said to him come back on Tuesday the 3rd she stopped herself and asked me when was I returning back to the United States I told her that I was traveling back to the United States on the 3rd. And I would like for us to travel back together . She then said they don't process visas on Thursdays and Friday and Monday are holidays I told her then I will call my boss and request an additional day off would we be able to pick up the Visa Tuesday morning she said hold on let me check something she came back and said come back tomorrow at 1 p.m. to pick up your passport with the VISA

To update on my case... My husband went today for his medical and biometrics in Dominican Republic. He was told he has to go next friday to pick up his results. He spent about 4 hours in the clinic. Then his biometrics were at 2pm but since there was so much time to wait he went early and they let him go in before his scheduled time. So it's nice to keep in mind. And also keep in mind you may have to spend more money doing the medical than anticipated because of vaccinations.  My husband spent about $395 us dollars in the clinic. He also took passport size pictures with him to the medical but he ended up not needing them... They took his picture instead. Also no phones aloud in neither click or biometrics.

Now waiting for the actual date to get here.

if not, most likely it will be done at the consulate/embassy the day of the interview.

You can always call the consulate to find out.

Foreigners resident in Cameroon for more than six months may obtain a Certificate of Non-Conviction (Casier Judiciaire) from the office of the Registrar-in-Chief (Greffier en Chef) at the Department of Criminal Affairs and Pardon, attached to the Court of First Instance (Tribunal de Premiere Instance) in Yaounde. This Certificate of Non-Conviction (Casier Judiciaire) can be obtained by presenting the following information: names, date and place of birth, nationality, passport number and issuance information, number and date of any Cameroon visas issued, number and date of issuance of the Resident Permit (Permis de Sejour), dates of residence and addresses while in the Cameroon.
