Couldn't help but visit your profile when I saw a fellow Bham resident! It's cool to see someone from my hometown who's made it through (most) of the process.

Hi guys.. Congratulations with your successful K1 visa process! Having my interview next week in Kiev too!))
And my concern is do they require I-134 to be notarized? Read lots of posts here, and still haven't found any exact answer..
So dared to ask you, as you already have the unique experience in Kiev embassy.
Thank yo alot for help!
Regards, Viktoria

I highly suggest to apply for SS# right after POE, next day or so, it took us 30 days to get it. Some other VJ have waited even 8 weeks. You need birthcertificate with notarized translation, I-94 and passport with k-1 visa. If you change your name to his, then is best to do SS# before marriage. The reason to do this is because i had to take my wife to a Urgent care and she couldn't be added to my health insurance. Aside, the SS# is used literally everywhere here.
