I have a question. We just received a rejection notice question because they said that they payment amount is incorrect. I wrote the check for $765.00 for the Form I751 and Biometric Fee. I read that that was the correct total. Am I completely wrong? I even looked on the the website so I am confused. Also they said that we have to send everything in again. They already have numbers typed at the bottom of these forms. Is it ok to send the same copies?

Hi! I just received a letter back from my child trying to get their passport. It said that this was needed.
I am not sure how to send them the correct information. My boys last name is their Dad’s middle name (their Dad is Hispanic and he wanted them to take the middle name (his dads last name) instead of his last name (his moms last name). At first I thought they were needing this information about me since I am remarried. How would I give the information to them? All of his id says the same thing?

Good Morning,
I am not sure where to post this. My husband and I are coming up on our 2nd year anniversary from being married. We used the K-1 Visa. When we went to our interview after we were married he said that we would have to fill out another form around the 2 year mark. My question is, what form is this? I also understood him to say that is was the 2 year mark for that interview (which happened the December after our marriage in April). I want to make sure I do this on time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My husband received his approval to work in the US yesterday. I keep hearing different things from everyone. Would it be best for him to begin work ASAP or wait until the new year? Will it make a difference in our tax return?

HI! I have a question. My husband went to school when he was in Canada to be an electrician. We are waiting for the papers to come in so he can work and also waiting on Adjustment of Status. My question is when he receives clearance to work can he go to school then too? Does he have to wait for Adjustment of Status or can he go to school now. We are not sure if his schooling will transfer here so we have to check all of that out.

EAD is 4-6 months.
You might be lucky with AOS because last year I saw a lot of Carolinas completed AOS in 4 months... Not sure if that changed since last year... Worth to check the forum....
As per Biometrics...
They will give you a form you need to complete (height, weight, eye color, hair color etc), then fingerprints (all ten fingers) and photo. Bring the notice they sent you in the mail + passport.
Awesome!!! I will check that out! Thank you!!

No you should never leave anything blank on USCIS forms. "N/A" or "None" as applicable.
But yes, read the forms and go along with the instructions as you are filling out the I131. Much of it does not apply to Advanced Parole. Most of it applies to Re-Entry Permits which are applied for using the I131 too.
As an AP applicant you do not have to give a reason or date of travel.
Perfect! Thank you so much for your kindness and help!

Yes. The I131 is used for other filers as well ..and some of those categories of filers must have an approved reason for needing the I131. Those with AOS don’t need any reason or plans
Awesome!! Thank you so much!!!
I started to panic yesterday when I looked at all the paper work for this lol. I was under the impression I got married and sent in one set of papers. I should have looked at this way before now which was not smart on my part. All of this does need to be turned in before the 90 days correct?

MC. Marriage
It doesn’t need to be .. it’s optional.. but it’s free at the time you file with the AOS and if anything unexpected arose he couldn’t leave and return without it ... do for me, it would be a wise thing to apply for it
Do I just leave the section blank about dates leaving the country and reason?

The I864 gets bundled with the I485 so it should not be on the bottom of the list.
I485 is bundled with I864.
I765 bundled by itself.
I131 bundled by itself
I would suggest seperate coverletters for the I765 and I131 as they are processed by entirely different adjudicators and will end up on different desks than the I485. All of the forms get seperated upon arrival so a single coverpage with one table of contents wont be helpful for the IOs who get your I765 and I131 months down the road.
Most documents for each form are required for each form (ie you will need 3 MC photocopies, 3 I94s, 3 K1 Visa stickers etc). I'm not sure if you understand that.
Also do we need to send in an I-131? He isn't planning to go out of the country. I just keep reading people that said it needs to be sent in too.

Thank you! I had no clue about any of this. I am going to sound dumb but what is MC photocopies and K1 Visa Stickers? So basically just add the same information to each of these 3 bundles?

Did your sponsor fill out an I-134 or an I-864.....Regardless, you should have a current and accurate I-864 for the AOS interview.
I-94s can be accessed here: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home
It was an I-134. Ooops. Should his sponsor (Me) and co-sponsor (My parents) both fill out and I-864 for the AOS?

Hi!
My husband and I just got married this past Saturday and I am filling out the forms to send in for his AOS.
When we filed for the K1 Visa we had a co sponsor for him. Do I need to get them to fill out another I-864
and I fill out one and send it in along with supporting documents or do I just fill this out now that he is here
and we are married?
Also the I-94 that my husband received from Montreal was stapled into his Passport. I am reading that we
need to send an electronic I-94. How do we get this?
One more question...does anyone have a sample copy of their cover sheet that they used?
Thank you sooooo much!!!

My fiance is going tomorrow to apply for his ssn. I am so confused about the RM 10211.530 document he needs. I cannot find this anywhere and when I click on the link VisaJourney.com gives me it tells me that its for others applying besides a K1 visa applicant. What am I missing here? Does anyone have the link I need to go to for this?

Conversations aren’t important. Pictures together. Boarding passes and hotels receipts in my fiancé name when he visited me here is what I sent in.

When Debbie and her son came up summer of 17 I had to explain to Bobby to ask for ice tea not just tea as they do in the south. He couldn't understand people drink hot tea. In hindsight I should have just let him order a tea and watch the look on his face would have been priceless
Sooo funny! When I have hot tea here I always say that and Mark always laughs and says just say tea. It’s a joke we always do and his family makes fun of me too. Just like for a long time he would tell me he was eating BBQ every night and I was thought that was a lot of BBQ until he explained that his BBQ is just what I called Grilled Hamburgers and hotdogs or chicken. Not actual pulled pork or brisket BBQ. I love all the little differences.
