We just got our tracking number this morning, finally, but it says that the number isn't valid yet. How long did it take before your number worked? Same day or the next day? @MC1 @Loois

Has your status changed to issued with the final visa processing and if not received within 5 days stuff yet? That was the next step change I got after the interview.

Both Loois and MC1 had the CEAC update on the 18th that their passport was in final processing. We interviewed on the 20th and got the final processing notification on the 21st. What date does your CEAC update have?

Yes, it said within 90 days when I received a case closed status.

That’s what I’m thinking. It would be really awesome if everyone could volunteer to call at two hour intervals or so. That way not everyone is calling a thousand times... I called at 8, so if you can call at maybe 10 or so? And if you don’t hear a positive, someone can offer to call around 12ish for us...

I called this morning and they said no interview date assigned yet. CC 9/11

I’m really hoping we get December dates next Friday as it’s the second Friday of the month, and it’s our 1st anniversary. Can’t think of a much better gift right now than having an end date finally in sight. 😍

There is definitely a chance that November may still hold some dates for us September people. They ended up scheduling a whole other set last month later in the week. I’m not giving up by any means yet!  My hope is even if they don’t schedule more, they get back on track for scheduling at the end of the month and freeing the first week back up of each month for scheduling. They seem to be scheduling so late in the month that the first week is a bust. Maybe they’re doing other types of visa that week... who knows? We definitely can’t ask our friends at the NVC! We’d get twenty-five different answers. Haha. Regardless, September people will have December interviews for sure and you’ll have a wonderful Xmas with your spouses. I’m calling it and refusing to accept any other answer or option. January is too long!

Whoops. Just realized @MtnBoarder was 8/6, not 9/6. Don’t research and drive folks.  Too excited at all the people receiving interviews!!

No interview news yet, eh?  If you log into the CEAC site, did it change status to "in transit?"  Or still the same?  I ask because that's what happened for those who have recently gotten November interviews. And you're the next one I know of. 
The last interview I've seen posted so far was CC August 23rd, interview November 27th. 

@arellah Was the last I had following for August and it looks like she’s getting great news as well soon.  I believe @MtnBoarder has a cc date of 9/6 as well. 

There are 9 people for the month of August that have a listed case closed. September doesn’t have many either. Of course there are several others that don’t update or follow visa journey, but there were more than that listed for the second half of July. I agree that the system being down for 10 days should hopefully speed things up a touch. Fingers crossed!

I just checked timelines and there's one that had a cc on 7/13 interviewing 10/9 and another for 7/18 on 10/18.

I'm just glad I finally got a case closed and can say we're just waiting on an interview date... We finally got our case closed today after not getting the first clear answer across 5 people from the NVC why our case was appearing the way it was. Regardless, it's done and now we can hurry up and wait some more.

You are perfectly fine to ask anything you want! The algae is finally clearing up. It was terrible since the beginning of June. This has been the worst year so far. I’ve been in the area for a little over 5 years now myself. I much prefer this area to Orlando. Our corporate office for my job is in Orlando and I dread going over there. Traffic with people visiting Disney is entirely too much to deal with for me. What province are you all coming from? We’re actually trying to decide if we would prefer to stay here or possibly move to the West Palm Beach area as my husband is from Quebec and there are a ton of Quebecois there, not to mention his aunt and uncle own a condo and come down for 3-4 months a year. We were very fortunate in that my husband was able to come down for a few months during this process. It gave him a chance to make sure he could survive the heat lol, and showed him how much he would miss his family. We have found really great flights with allegiant for Clearwater to Plattsburgh, so we even considered moving up that way to allow for easier traveling. So many decisions!
