Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Progress Reports to General Immigration-Related Discussion.

Is this for F2A? If so, your processing times are different than that of a US Citizen filing for a spouse or child.
If so, note that the I-130 getting approved won't speed up the process...you'll just sit at NVC waiting for the PD to become current.

If the reason she gets denied is due to immigrant intent then it won’t affect your immigrant petition. But if she’s got skeletons in her closet that makes her ineligible for a visa then that’s another story.

You can’t. She can. The chances of her getting it are zero to none. She’s got an active immigrant petition on her name and someone correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t it hard enough as it is to get tourist visas in Nepal? She’ll most likely get denied. You’ll have wasted all that money. Wait out the petition. Visit her in her country or plan a third country visit. And be patient for the long road apart.

You can't apply for her. She has to apply on her own.

    Sure she can apply.

Just don't have much hope for an approval.
