I know it seems unfair that they don't process cases exactly in order. I'm not sure why but maybe it has to do with the length of background check. I have no idea.

I will say its helpful to join this thread:

additionally there was someone on there with an noa1 of January 4th that didn't see on the new website or the old an approval but when he called the uscis they told him it was approved. Some people are wondering if possibly the sites are not updating correctly? Also, I wouldn't start getting stressed unless you are well before the cases they post in processing times. Today they are on December 19th.

I saw that too! someone called and found out their approval over the phone... we'll wait until next week We'll hit the 7 months of waiting on Aug 9.. Just feeling a bit frustrated cos people from my group who submitted after us already  got approved.. It's like they are starting mid weeks then go later with the first week

They don't process cases 100% in order. You just have to wait and give it time. Once the processing times are update - don't stress. It says that they are processing cases with the date of x and after. Yours just might not be the first processed, but then again, no ones is.

I noticed that they usually start processing like mid weeks of a month and go later with first week.. just like what happened In Novemeber

It's already December 7 on the site, it's 100 degrees right now.

    I'm getting annoyed already.

Every time I log into the new site, I think it's going to say approved but then there's nothing.

There's tomorrow for the week and hopefully we get approved.

I don't want to wait until Monday.

Hi fellow Jan filers! Our petition was sent Jan 5th and we got an email and text confirmation with case number from USCIS on Jan 12th. Just wondering how many days or weeks after should my fiance (the petitioner) receive our NOA1 hard copy in the mail?

So glad i stumbled on this thread to read each and everyone's experience in this journey to be reunited with our person! I'm sure this is going to be a long and hard wait for us as it is tough to be so far away from the one we love but keeping my fingers crossed that we all have a 2018 wedding :)

Hi ! It tooks almost two weeks to received the hard cooy of NOA1. We sent ours Jan. 4 and they received it Jan. 5. We didn’t get notification until 17th saying that the hard copy was delivered that day. No email noti. Just a text and a hard copy the same day. You’ll probably get yours this week! Crossed fingers

    Hello there every.

Just out of curiosity, how many pages did your i-129f packet contain? Our packet contained 52 pages, including all the necessary forms, but i see that some people have 100 or more pages.

We also didn't put any Skype or email logs as proof. We put some plane tickets, my ds2019s of when I was in the us on a scholarship and pictures of us every year since 2013, which was when we started dating.

Do you guys believe that's enough proof of our relationship or do you believe that they'll want to see emails and Skype logs between us?

    Take care everyone!

You’re doing fine! Others got bunches of papers because maybe they took so many screenshots and pictures. But all you need is enough proof of your relationship and you’re good to go. :)  When did you file?

Got my NOA1!!! WAC#1890113331. It says receipt date was January 12, so these days have been counting at least! First week down, (too) many to go. @RambaCat Maybe your receipt date will also be January 12! My notifications for USPS had said that no one had picked up the packet until Tuesday but the letter says January 12!

Yay!! Congrats!! We’re so ready for NOA2.. although I know it will take a while! Now that USCIS is processing July applicants. It’s moving and getting closer and closer!
